“In one word: PERFECT”

We all search the web and read copious reviews while doing our due diligence in selecting hotels, restaurants, merchants, etc etc. And when viewing The Welsh Hills Inn's site the images looked lovely....but when we walked through the front door of inn, the perfect pairing of ambiance and décor surrounded us. As I passed through the different rooms, Bobbi and Jeff's tasteful style and attention to detail was everywhere. Elegance blended with preppy, thematic groupings sparkled with a touch of whimsy. From the entry to the wrap-around porch to the pool house to our bedroom it. was. perfect. The hardwoods shone, not a speck of dust was seen, soft acoustical music and a light and lovely fragrance flowed throughout. The king size bed was extremely comfortable, adjustable AC was great, the flat screen was opposite the bed, the bathroom was larger than expected complete with pocket door to give additional privacy while allowing the sink area to be used by itself. Jeff is an excellent chef and the two breakfasts we savored were delightful. Bobbi greeted us each evening with a carafe of fresh water and a delicious sweet treat especially selected from a local company. *Our son had given us a gift certificate for one night and we purchased a second. What a fabulous getaway weekend for us!
And, yes, we will return!

Room Tip: You must climb stairs for the wonderful Bedwyn Bach ensuite...but SO worth every step!! King size be...

Bobbie and Jeff were the most gracious hosts. We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Breakfast on their porch overlooking the beautiful scenery with amazing food was perfect! Jeff taught us bocci ball and we are now addicted! There is so much to do with the beautiful pool area, bocci ball court, hot tub, and hiking trails.....or just relax on the front porch.....The Noes were the perfect hosts.

An absolutely stunning B & B! Impeccable accommodations! We enjoyed a delicious candlelight dinner and incredible breakfast on the porch while watching deer play in the yard. Took a peaceful walk through the woods and sat at the pond and watched the fish. God blessed us with perfect weather to enjoy the gorgeous pool! This property is tranquil, beautiful and we can't wait to visit again! Bobbi & Jeff are gracious and deliver a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: All rooms are stunning!

We usually like to experience new places, but the Welsh Hills Inn is so wonderful that we were excited about our second stay. If anything, it was even better than we remembered. Excellence is in the details, and all around the details shine. Everything is beautiful, from the grounds to the art work, and of course the food. Just a pleasure to relax and enjoy a finely crafted environment. The wonderful hospitality adds the final touch, starting with an initial warm greeting and ending with a gracious sendoff. We can’t recommend it highly enough; we will return again.

Room Tip: Berllan Glyn Grande King Guest Suite is great. We would take any of their rooms.

We returned to Welsh Hills again to celebrate my husband's birthday and also the anniversary of our dear friends. It only gets better. We had a candlelight dinner on the porch and the table was set so beautifully. Bobbi is definitely the "hostess with the mostest" and Jeff's culinary expertise is tops. We enjoyed lovely wine and cheese on the porch too. Elle greeted us and we also got to meet the new puppy, Wrigley. It is indeed a lovely country inn and you can be sure we will return again. It's the best!

We reluctantly left the Welsh Hills Inn after 5 days there. We could have easily stayed longer. We felt so pampered and comfortable without ever feeling fussed over. Jeff prepares delicious breakfasts. The bed is excellent, pillows, too. The grounds are beautiful. Bobbie is a very gracious hostess. We even liked Ellie the dog. This place was a wonderful surprise in the middle of Ohio and we will definitely stay there again.

We booked this because we were on a college tour and tired of the basic hotels and we really lucked out with this choice! Our room was lovely. We got to meet the new puppy. Definitely order dinner as the food was delicious and more than we could finish - they use local product when they can and we had wonderful jams for breakfast. It was nice to come down and enjoy lemonade or a glass of wine with cheese and crackers at the end of the day! We sat on the porch and relaxed after a long days drive and watched the dogs play in the yard, enjoyed a cool breeze and peaceful view. All in, if you are looking for a relaxing, really lovely place with wonderful host/hostess - this is IT! We'll return!
