“This place has to be experienced.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

It's a beautiful old manor, oozing charm and character. It has endlessly high ceilings and lovely sized bedrooms with ensuites. Overall, we both enjoyed our stay and the full English breakfast was absolutely scrummy! A couple of small grumbles (hope you don't mind Vicki): the mattress in the blue bedroom could do with replacing (as if you need to spend any more money on the place!), as the springs poked me whenever I moved. Also, it would have been nice to have a little heat in the dining room for breakfast; we both wear plenty of layers when it's cold, but it was a shame - although understandable - that our breakfasts rapdily cooled before we could finish them. Maybe an electric heater could be put on, or the radiator? ...thinking about it, maybe the radiator was on! If that was the case, then perhaps we should've sat closer :)
All in all we loved our stay. We loved the tour, we loved that we had the place to ourselves, and we loved the hosts. Thank you again.

Room Tip: They're all lovely rooms.

Stayed here for one night, whilst working on the island, This B&B was absolutely stunning the location is very nice and has stunning views, we were met by Vicky who was really friendly and helpful and told us about the history of Weston Manor which was very interesting, the rooms were massive and clean tidy, the beds were out of this world, the breakfast was great too, all round a great place to stay.

If your on the island there is only one place to stay ! Weston Manor

Well done Vicky & Family you made our stay very enjoyable

Having almost given up my search to find a place to go with the children for a short break I stumbled across Weston Manor and I can honestly say it was the best break we'd had in a long time. Vicki and Mike were very friendly and couldn't have done anything better. Loved the peace and quiet, interesting chapel and the accommodation was definitely superb. Vicki was extremely helpful, she even tried to locate someone who might be doing hairbraids on the beach for my daughter. They have lots of recommendations and suggestions of places to visit and eat. Local pub within walking distance serves good quality food, just remember to borrow a torch from the table in the hall as you leave the Manor. My children loved the chickens and the eggs were certainly very tasty, great breakfasts. Highly recommend you book a stay. Vicky - thankfully my children stopped badgering me to get chickens after a week or so!!!!!

Room Tip: We had rooms with a linking door, fab with kids and it meant we had 2 bathrooms!

We stayed at for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Breakfasts were a joy, especially the freshness of the eggs! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, all that you hoped for in a good B&B in a splendid location.

We stayed for 3 nights with some friends and were highly delighted with all aspects of our stay. Weston Manor has been divided into two businesses and we stayed in the newly renovated back half of the building run by Vicki and Mike. The renovation has been superbly done with many of the old features of the building restored to their former glory. The rooms, mainly on the first floor, are beautifully and comfortably fitted out and very clean and bright. Bathrooms are fitted with large modern showers and newly tiled throughout to a high standard. As the Manor is out in the country it is ideal for a quiet nights sleep. The proprietors are very welcoming and work hard to satisfy individual needs. The breakfasts are excellent and cooked to order to suit your diet and you certainly won't leave hungry. Locally souced produce is used - the eggs are from their own chickens who wander about in the adjacent woodland. Nothing is too much trouble and we would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend it highly to friends and family. This is an outstanding B & B.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the back have a slightly better view and there is a ground floor bedroom if stairs are...

My wife and I have just stayed at Weston Manor for the weekend.
It is amazing that a B&B is available in such a unique piece of history as this building. Vicki is very friendly and a great hostess.
It is apparent that the renovation works that Vicki and Mike carried out to this ancient building is quite phenomenal and this is apparent as soon as you enter and see the restored original flagstone flooring.
The breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and Mike and Vicki appear to have gone to a lot of trouble to source quality local products for it, including fresh free range eggs from their own chickens.
I have never heard of this place before I booked and never met Mike or Vicki, and this review is glowing because it deserves to be.

We booked all rooms at Weston Manor as we were going to a wedding, We cant speak highly enough of the hospitality we received from Vicki and Mike, they did everything they could and more to make our stay memorable. Their breakfasts were very yummy and lots of it.Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. If I could give 6 stars I would . Thank you so much Vicki and Mike for the welcome you gave us (and the cufflinks you loaned us).
