An historic jewel in the English countryside. A tiny windmill, one of the earliest surviving in the country, set in the midst of field with only a couple of National Trust staff sat on a deckchair outside. A guide will take you under the mill and up on to the two decks to see this fantastic piece of early engineering in all its glory. With a huge hand turned wheel to rotate the entire building into the wind this is indeed a rare sight. A great insight into our rural past.
