“Blechley Park Tour.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for one night when we were on a coach tour of Bletchley Park and The Imperial War Museum. We were with a coach party of about thirty eight.
We had our check in information and room keys given to us by a hotel employee as we left the coach so check in was seamless.
Our room was large enough and nice and clean with a good sized comfortable bed, the bathroom was also good, clean with nice hot water.
We had a three course set evening meal as part of our tour package. This was a good tasty meal and was really enjoyable. A bit of a problem in the dining room was the waiting staff, it would seem that there were trainee waiters in there who didn't know their job too well, because of this we ended up not having wine with our meal.
Breakfast was excellent, hot and cold items were all first class, a very tasty breakfast.
This hotel is really nice to stay in and if we ever visit this area again (which we will) then we will stay at Letchworth Hall.

I took my mum here for a treat to afternoon tea. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and has such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff we extremely helpful and pleasant throughout our visit and the actual tea, scones, cakes and sandwiches that were served up were delicious with the scones still warm.
Would definitely recommend and have afternoon tea here again!

Beautiful hotel in a quiet location. We ate in the restaurant and were surprised by the high quality of food which was accompanied by good, prompt service.

The room was small with the double bed taking up most of the space. Bathroom was also a little tight and there was a huge spiders web in the corner which was disconcerting regarding the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

Hotel was generally quiet but it was noisey one night with a wedding party going on until 12.

Not sure if the room was value for money but food was worth the stay. Breakfast was far too expensive for what was on offer.

Yesterday a relative was married at Letchworth Hall Hotel, the organisation was first class.
The staff could not do enough to assist everyone, the room that the wedding ceremony took place looked stunning. The meal was excellent. Our room, which was on the ground floor was
immaculate, appeared to have all been refurbished.
As it was a lovely Summer evening, the grounds were a godsend for all of the children at the wedding, they all had a lovely time.
The pretty grounds and fountain made a lovely backdrop for photographs of the happy couple.
Well done to all of the staff at the Hotel.

very nice hotel, clean, modern bedrooms, pleasant check in, all reception staff very nice and helpful. Excellent full English breakfast. nice surroundings. we stayed for 1 night and there were 2 wedding parties on but you couldn't hear anything from the rooms. Only let down was the cleaner banging on the door in the morning, well before checkout time, slightly ruined the chilling!

Dear Guest

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review on Tripadvisor following your recent stay here at the Letchworth Hall Hotel this weekend.

I was delighted to hear that you enjoyed your time with us and that the two functions we were hosting did not disturb you.

However, I do appreciate your feedback regarding the housekeeping department and I will be passing this on to our Housekeeping manager who will do further training with her team to ensure that situations similar to this do not re-occur.

Once again thank you for your review and I do hope that we have the pleasure in welcoming you back very soon.

Kind Regards

This hotel needed a revamp since my last visit several years ago and it has clearly had it. The fountains need some attention but otherwise, the grounds are good and the hotel feels well managed. The site is bordered by a golf course, church grounds and fields. It is an excellent location. The older parts of the building have character with impressive climbing greenery on many of the outside walls. The bar, seating areas and outside patio area are all inviting.

We had a deal on Afternoon Tea for six of us. The welcome and service was very good, the afternoon tea was fine (a gluten free request for one of us was handled expertly) and the event was relaxing and pleasant. More than enough reasons to tempt us back.
