“Lovely!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2012

I've visited Queenswood since I was a young child and its magical. The Autumn garden is well worth a look and there are some really interesting specimen trees. The viewpoint looks out across the countryside to the Welsh hills beyond and there is a child's adventure playground, cafe, ice-cream, nice toilets, gift shop and big car park. There is also an amazing display of bluebells and a lovely sequoia forest. Dogs are welcome as long as you're prepared to scoop that poop and there's usually an adventure/nature trail for kids. At the moment there are a selection of sculptures to spy along the paths. Truly lovely.

“Beautiful and great for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

Been here may times with our son and could not believe that no one had listed it on here so I did.

The park is stunning with amazing Red Wood trees and lots of little walks along well marked tracks. There is even a track for mobility buggies. For kids there is lots of places to play including a well built and fenced off from dogs play area.

Only one let down for the place is the dogs. All seem to run wild with little control from their owners.

There is a little cafe and seating outside for picnics. The National Trust has a shop their and is involved in the Park. 100% recommended going and having a great day walking and looking for the wooden carved animals.
