“Quality Food, Good Portions”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

My wife and I came here for a night out without the kids. It is a dark interior with embroidery on the walls and, although I have never been to Ireland, it conveyed a certain "Irish" feel to it with its plaster walls and recipe for Irish coffee stiched into the framed cloth above our table. I got a pint of Guiness and of course corned beef and cabbage. What else would I order in an Irish pub? The carrots were crisp and fresh, the corned beef well seasoned and the potaotes more towards firm than mushy. My wife got the fish and chips. These were some hefty chunks of cod, and there were three of them. The beer batter was light, the fish firm and tasty. The tab with two cocktails, no appetizer, two entres, and a shared dessert was about $50.00.

“good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

Food is always good here , also a good selection of beers. Quiet atmosphere in the dining room, more up beat in the bar. Service usually very, however last night it wasn't. daily specials are also good, but get their early, as they tend to run out of food.

“Nice little place out of the way”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

My husband and I really like the Unicorn. Nothing fancy, not fine dining, but good food at a good value. You can order a nice salad or sandwich or go for a full dinner. The Galick steak dinner is fantastic. As is the blackened chicken fettucinni alfredo. This is a place that has been around for some time and is still here for a good reason. A good dinner a waits.

“Irish and so much more”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Family run Irish restaurant always consistent with delivery- laid back but very attentive to details- our recent visit measured up to past experiences - abit out of the way but a gem in Lorain county south of I480 on Rte.57
