Stayed here for 1 night and recieved a warm welcome from the staff , I had checked in in less than 3 minutes and went back to my vehicle to put a sticker in the window and found a parking ticket stuck to my windscreen, asking why I got a ticket he replied you have parked in residents bays.silly me thinking hotel residents that 3 min mistake cost me 50pound so beware the carpark troll.hotel was fine and a big thanks to ashleigh for sorting me a pub with skysports.

As always, you get what you expect from Tavelodge. Second time I've stopped in one with the bar/cafe and had breakfast this time, which was good value and tasty except for the fruit juice which tasted like orange water! Room was comfy but as always very spartan, curtain needed repairing as hanging off rail which spoiled overall impression, but for one night not a big deal. There are plenty of eateries in the square in which this hotel is situated, but as we did not get back until late only Dominos was open so chose to snack in the hotel cafe which was fine, although choice was limited.
Staff always seem really pleasant and helpful and this hotel was Travelodge was no different. We're staying in another next weekend, so obviously we left happy. Booked 4 rooms as were travelling in a party, all on different floors but no real problem in that. Some of the "guests" in the bar seemed a little questionable but didn't bother us. Overall a decent convenient polace to stop on a budget

Ideally situated hotel if you're on business, the fact there were lots of people stood outside smoking wasn't a major issue but builders (guests) walking up and down the corridors quite late at night and having bear chested conversations until quite late did disrupt my sleep :-)

Hotel itself was fine, room was clean and bed very comfortable.

Having to pay £95 with no free wifi was a bit of a rip off if I'm honest and very few TV channels.

May stay again if pushed only because there's a few good restaurants close by.

Staff all very helpful and no real issues about the hotel itself, but this was a last minute choice due to st Albans being full.

Not the best experience but it was okay! Ramada has better offers within the hotel. There wasn't much given just the bare min of essentials! No chair no shower cap no soap no hair drier no phone to call customer service nothing in the room practically big disappointment

This basic but up-to-date hotel is good value and comfortable. It has its own cafe which serves breakfast. As a disabled traveller the bathroom was excellent. Just take care and follow instructions as the road system around the hotel is awkward to get in to.

Built on the site of the world famous Comet aeroplane factory, you'll see a sign for the police station, a refurbished 1920/30's hangar, turn in there and left.

A new motel, there are a couple of restaurant/bars in the complex and just across the road is The Galleria shopping centre with restaurants and cinemas.

As much as there are no leisure facilities in the motel, there is plenty to do locally.

Room Tip: All rooms are pretty much the same
