Really pleasant family stay. Friendly and efficient staff. Clean and well equipped room. The perfect base for a forest break and value for money. Could have paid more for a fancy hotel but we wanted to be out and about. The hotel catered for all our needs. What more could you ask for?

This place is stuck right on the tip of the new forest and looks a bit of a dump from the outside.

Cant fault it really though, soundproofed from the main road, pleasantly appointed rooms ( i stayed in 118) and very friendly and attentive staff.

Value for money at 37 for the night, would recommend

We Have never considered a Travel Lodge before but will do after our recent visit. Check-in was quick, the receptionist very friendly & helpful, the room was very clean, the bed, bedding & pillows felt new & very comfortable. Tea & coffee facilities were there with plenty of 'extras' in reception.
The adjacent building was a Little Chef which provided excellent basic food at economical prices ... and saved us going out on a foul night to find an eatery.

Very convenient for Paulton's Park. Good facilities wise considering the very inexpensive cost to stay here - £52 for a family of four. Even allowing for breakfast in the morning at Little Chef (fine) at c.£20, that is astonishingly good value.

Great location for getting into the new forest. The entrance to the park only 800m from the door, although getting on the main road in the mornings is 'interesting'. The hotel looks a little dated from outside but inside it was ok. Tea and coffee is in plentiful supply.

Plenty of room in 108, it looks as if they could put in a second bed, but the ceiling is lower than normal.

Room Tip: If you are over 1.83m tall, room 108 has limited ceiling height in the shower. Ask to be at the back...

The travellodge had been recentely refurbished. The beds were more comfortable than previous stays at this travellodge. The reception staff were freindly and helpful. The location of the travellodge is a perfect location as we were travelling on the following day to Dorset.
