“A stunning hidden gem.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013 via mobile

Open two Sundays per month through the Summer to support charities chosen for that year. Just down the road from the Waitrose Farm Shop, and also owned by Waitrose/ John Lewis, this beautiful garden is an absolute treasure and your entry fee goes to help a good cause.

“An hour or two of joy for garden lovers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

Well worth a visit if you're in the area and it is open (opening resticted). Extensive water gardens - no need to go to France to see the ones that Monet painted (these are bigger/better. A short drive away is a garden/nursery/eatery centre on the same estate

“Fantastic”

Beautiful, gardens were immaculate, very peaceful afternoon, make sure you take a picnic. Plenty of hidden private patches to just sit and relax.

“Idyllic gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

The water gardens are amazing. We'd seen how they looked in Spring on Waitrose TV and they were equally stunning in the flesh in August. We walked round twice to see things from different perspectives and the photos will take a long time to edit!

“Water gardens to surpass all (nearly!) others”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

This is really worth a visit for all us horticulturalists and garden lovers. Whilst restricted opening times, it is well worth visiting along with their sister garden nurseries, a mile up the road with lots of the less common varieties of plants.
