I recently stayed at the three cups for a friends birthday. We had two rooms, both of which were lovely, clean and would give many larger, more expensive rooms a run for their money.
The staff were all extremely friendly, and worked extremely hard to keep an extremely busy establishment happ.(every single table and chair was taken.)
We chose to eat in the early evening, having fresh mussels to start, followed by some of the finest steaks and truly fresh fish and (REAL) chips. We also had a cheeseboard with Hampshire cheeses all of which were top rate, the chef (Paul,) also served some of his homemade chutney, with a cinamon kick to it.
My friends are lucky enough to live in driving distance, so have already said theyl be back on a reular basis. Living overseas myself, i will have to wait until the spring, but I WILL return!
I would absolutely recommend The Three Cups, a must for people wanting to visit the real England, and eat quality local produce, in a lovely setting.
