“Superb! Definitely 5* For Fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013 via mobile

The very first thing I noticed on arrival is that the park is spotlessly clean! There was no rubbish anywhere. The park is well laid out and there were loads of beautiful flowers, trees, parks, toilets and seating areas. In fact I would go as far as saying this is the best theme park I have ever visited.

Looking at some of the other reviews, clearly queues can be a problem, but we had no such trouble. I visited the park with my wife and three year old daughter, on a Monday, and in school term. We headed immediately to Peppa Pig World and we literally spent the whole day there - we personally found loads to see and so. In terms of queuing, I would say at most 10 mins. The longest queue being for the helicopter ride where getting people on and off is two "helicopters" at a time. I guess we were in the queue for around 20 mins. Some of the rides we were on almost immediately. My daughter is just over 1 meter tall so providing she went on with an adult, she could go on all the rides. If you have a child that's less than 1 meter, there are very few rides they will be able to go on.

Food is ok but not great considering it cost me £6 for a hot dog and fries. There is lots of seating in and around the park so you could always take a picnic. I know some other reviewers have commented on the price. Personally I don't think the cost is prohibitive. Most family activities these days will cost a few pounds or more. We had a superb day and my three year old absolutely thought it was the best day ever . If we lived closer, we would be going back. As it happens we don't!

“lovely day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

Had a lovely day out with family, wife and 3 boys, 4, 7 and 8. They all enjoyed themselves and loved all the rides. Queues not too bad when we went and went on lots of things twice if not more. Boys particularly like the log flume ride. Very good that kids don't have to be that tall to go on most rides, my 4 year old was able to go on all but 1 ride. Will take swim stuff next time in warm weather so kids can go in the slash area.

Would definitely recommended, don't know if there is enough to do for a 2 day trip unless weather is really sunny and you can use water area for a few hours.

Very good price online, about £20 each so can't grumble. Wil definitely return

“Fantastic family day out especially out of season.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

We went to Paultons Park mid September, we have a 3 year old and a 5 year old.

We had a fantastic time here, when the park opened rather than heading straight to Peppa Pig world like everyone else we went and explored the rest of the park. There were plenty of things for the kids to do and best of all there were no queues which meant the children were constantly entertained.

Later on in the afternoon we headed over to Peppa Pig world which was lovely but quite busy, I took my son on one of the rides and then let him say hello to Peppa Pig but they had more fun over the other side of the park where they could run around without the crowds.

I was surprised that the little rides dotted around the park were free, usually these rides cost a pound a go outside the supermarket but I thought it was a nice touch that it was all included in our admission fee.

Take your own food as the food is terrible here and pricey too! There are plenty of lovely areas around the park to have a picnic.

Plenty of toilets around.

This was a fantastic family day out made even better because we went out of season which meant no queues and it didn't rain either.

“Best family theme park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

We have been here a few times and really love it. It is excellent value for money and there is so much to do you need more than one day! Our toddler loves Peppa Pig World and when he was 8 months old he could go on almost every ride. Now he is 3 he goes on everything! It gets very busy and you can queue for about 40 mins on average for the rides so bring something to entertain your children. The food places also have long queues so its worth taking a picnic as there are lots of places to eat or you can munch as you queue. Watch out for wasps! There are so many!
Our older daughter loved the rest of the park with the birds, fish and bigger rides like rollercoasters. Its great that there are several play areas with sand and coffee points for grown ups. If the weather is nice the splash park is great fun too.

“Our grandson loved it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

When we first arrived our two year old granson was so excited when he spotted Peppa pig and family. He did have a wonderful time.
Couple of points. Our two year old as with many of the children are still learning the concept of queing so make sure lots of healthy snacks are at hand as some ques were quite lengthy. Have to say our grandson did surprisingly well.
Not enough moving characters for the children to interact with. Plenty of plastic characters you can take photos of with the children but the only big cuddly versions came out a few times a day and were behind a fence.
There is your usual indoor activity room if bad weather but luckily we didn't have to use this. Food was what you would expect from any amusement park.
Overall our grandson had a fab day and that made it worthwhile for us.
