“Brilliant day out for all the family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

We have recently been to Peppa pig World and what a day it was!!
We were so impressed.
We went for our 4yr old daughter's birthday surprise and she was over the moon!
The park was immaculate, all staff were very friendly and the rides were brilliant!
Unfortunately the only ride we didn't manage to get on was Miss Rabbit's helicopter ride which was a bit disappointing :( the queue was huge all day so obviously a very popular ride.
We were also very impressed with the toilets as they had built in toilet seats for the kids which was really handy for us.
Can't make any comment on food as we took a picnic and there was plenty of areas to sit and eat lunch.
We thought it was well worth the money but felt once you've paid your admission fee you shouldn't then have to pay for extra things such as the racing cars in Paultons
Overall we were so pleased and had a really enjoyable day :)))

Dear LucyLivLily, thank you for your great feedback and taking the time to review us on Trip Advisor. We are delighted that you were very impressed and found the staff friendly and facilities clean and useful - something we work hard on to achieve!

There are over 60 rides and attractions included in tickets, the race cars are additional due to the nature and limited capacity of the attraction, this then allows it to be optional for visitors rather than increasing the admission price and then guests not being able to use them. We hope this helps explain.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family back again soon,

Kind regards,

Paultons Park | Home of Peppa Pig World

“So Impressed!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013 via mobile

'So Impressed'
Paultons park was absolutely brilliant for my 2 year old and 7 year old! The majority of the rides my little girl could go on if she wanted if not there was always a nice little distraction, parks or the little sit on rides. We bought a 2 day ticket which is well worth it so we didn't have to rush and the kids could spend equal times in the theme park and peppa pig world. The park is clean and well planned and everything is well made. Only thing I'd recommend is bring your own food. The food is pricey and not great. Other than that Massive recommendations!!

“Excellent day out for young children and value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

We had a great day with 3 yr old and baby and 3 adults. Spent 6 hours here and all took turns on the rides with child. Went to Peppa Pig World first and did queue for some rides but it wasn't a problem. Then went to rest of park which was quiet as term time plenty of green space as well as a good selection of rides.

“Great day out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Have been here 4 times so far and always thoroughly enjoy it, last time however my daughter literally has just gone over the metre so had to pay for her, which she enjoys the place but kids should be cheaper than adults I feel. Thought recommend this place regularly and only place my 3 year old can go on a majority of the rides. Expect queuing at peppa pig world though.

Dear Stacey H, thank you for your feedback and taking the time to review us on Trip Advisor, we are pleased that you always thoroughly enjoy visiting!

Children under 1 metre in height are free of charge. When they are over this height they are able to enjoy nearly all of the 60+ rides and attractions in Paultons Park and Peppa Pig World, some accompanied by an adult, so a ticket is required. Peppa Pig World is normally quieter first thing in the morning or later on in the afternoons on peak holidays.

We look forward to welcoming you again soon,

Kind regards,

“Long queues and just a fraction of Paultons Park”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Our kid is a super Peppa fan and thus we had to go there. We were expecting a lot but our experience there was just average. Peppa Pig World (PPW) is located in a small corner within the Paultons Park. Paultons Park is a full adventure park. The entry ticket is for Paultons Park that includes Peppa Pig World. Below is our visits round up with some tips.

PPW has the following rides themed on the popular show (expect to queue up for about 30 mins for each ride even if the queues don't seem very long because only a small number of people ride in one go; though they try and manage that as efficiently as they can):
What we liked the best: 1. Windy Castle, 2. Peppa's Big Balloon Ride, 3. Miss Rabbit's Helicopter Flight
Nice but repetitive: 4. Grandpa Pig's Boat Trip, 5. Daddy Pig's Car Ride, 6. Grandpa Pig's Little Train, 7. George's Dinosaur Adventure

There are a few themed attractions such as the Peppa's House, Paddling Ducks etc. which the kids will enjoy. Some of the rest such as The Campervan and Grandpa Pig's House were just models to see from outside.

The Indoor Play Centre was okay but super crowded.

Make sure you carry a change for your kids if they want to visit the Muddy Puddles, which has lots of fountains making the kids completely wet.

All rides etc. in PPW can be covered in 3-4 hours including the queues. Keep more time if you want to visit the rest of Paultons Park which has rides for older kids and adults and some interesting attractions (4D cinema, Dinosaur Walk, sandpits and kids playarea). We took an overnight package with a Hotel in Southampton but think a day was sufficient.

It is a bit far from Southampton for people not driving in and taxi to and from the Park trend to be expensive. There is a Bus Stop in the Car Park of Paulton Park with a Bus going into Southampton City Centre and back to the park Monday through to Saturday. For Sunday's choosing a Southampton Cab over one of the Paulton park friendly Cab providers may be slightly cheaper (still in excess of 20-25 quid one way).

Dear The_Holiday_Couple, thank you for your feedback and taking the time to review us on Trip Advisor.

We are sorry that your visit may not have been the success that you had hoped for and you felt that your children's experience was average. Queue times for rides do vary depending on if you visit during or outside of school holidays and weekends. During peak periods, it is often quieter in the Peppa Pig World section of the Park either first thing in the morning or later in the afternoons.

Most of our short break visitors report that they spend a day in Peppa Pig World and then another to enjoy the 60+ rides and attractions in Paultons Park. Paultons has been awarded the best value theme park by Which? Travel and the best theme park in the UK for children by readers of Netmums.com.

We hope to see you again in the future,

Kind regards,
