“Best Indian food ever”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

We were staying at a B&B in Farnborough and needed a restaurant for dinner. Tripadvisor said this came up as the best restaurant of 44 in the local area and we can see why. The place was spotlessly clean, staff were very welcoming. The waiter spent time advising and explaining some of the dishes and recommended a couple that he thought I would like. A sag aloo and a dish with okra and a special pilau rice with nuts and fruit through it. My husband had a biriyani. Everything was superb and some of the best Indian food we've had. It seemed very busy for a Sunday evening and most of the diners seemed to be locals as they were greeted personally by the staff. Lucky them, to live so near.

“Beautiful food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We were lucky enough to be invited to a meal to celebrate Mum's 84th birthday. Turns out the restaurant was celebrating its first anniversary with a 50% off special offer. But having tasted the food, there won't need to be any special offers to persuade us to return! The food was so tasty and not oily like much 'Indian' food can be. Even though there wasn't a spare seat to be had, the waiters served us calmly, politely and well.

“Still great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2013 via mobile

It has been a few months since my first review and we have now visited Diwali a number of times with many a takeaway as well. The good news is it still doesn't disappoint. The food is excellent and with a 50% discount on all food last week to celebrate their anniversary two of us ate for £53 including a diet coke, bottle of champagne£25 and two courses. They do specials from time to time, so it is well worth getting on their mailing list. Even without the specials Diwali is still good value!
A great selection and every time I try something different it never disappoints.

Keep up the good work!

This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere Very friendly staff. We were served with a nice friendly waiter, Shiva. He was very attentive and very helpful. The food was very good we both were happy because there was lot less oil than the usual places. It was so tasty we ordered take away yesterday. Me and my hubby finally found a good Indian restaurant.

“Repeated Visits”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

My wife and I tried this reastaraunt following the receipt of a door step flyer. As regular diners of Indian cuisine, we decided to give it a try and we are very glard we did. With fiends of ours who also love the food we now go at least once every two weeks and often once a week. The food is excelent and the service faultless. I have had many many indian meals, including meals at reastaraunts in the London Brick Lane area but this is up their with the best.
