This new restaurant next to the Eastleigh Vue seemed perfect for a post film treat. However the visit was not a total success with slow service and variable food quality. My jalapeño bullets starter was not bad, but surprisingly it was not very spicy. My wife had prawns and was disappointed with the flavour. My main dish - piri piri chicken with home fries was delicious with lots of spice and the fries were particularly tasty. However, my wife had the pulled pork and thought it was terrible with lots of fat and it was really bland. Her complaint was dealt with promptly, hence the higher rating.
Great location, lots of parking and a varied menu. It maybe too soon to abandon this restaurant, as it has only been open a couple of weeks - start up teething problems perhaps?
The slow service was a frustration, as the place was not busy. It may improve as the restaurant beds down, but it needs addressing before the reputation is damaged.
I'll try again in a few months and see if it was just start up problems.
