Standard room. As I was travelling with my sister we requested a twin-share which they said meant a disability access room. Upon arrival we went to our room to discover it was the only disable room that had a queen-size bed rather than two singles. We ended up sharing. The room being a disability access room was very spacious however the shower (no bath) was small. The room overlooked the train station and being near the airport there was a little noise however not enough to disturb sleep. The staff were very friendly. Lots of food places nearby. You get half an hour free wifi every 24 hours however it must be used in one go then you have to pay. Hotel is very close to the train line which goes to many towns in the surrounding area.

Room Tip: Room 401 is very spacious. Queen size bed only.

helpful staff, clean, quiet hotel. The only drawback is no parking facilities. I would not advise eating at the pub next door. The breakfast was diabolical, and the staff completely indifferent and not at all helpful. food was cold and unpleasant.

Large comfy bed in beautifully spotless room. Very little storage space. Near to a busy road and directly opposite the railway station, but room had absolutely no noise disturbance at all. No cooked breakfasts but Wetherspoons pub adjoining, that does all meals! Would use again.

Room Tip: Go higher for better view and quietness.

If only every hotel was located opposite the railway station, with a pub which also serves breakfast next door, has friendly staff, with modern, clean and comfortable rooms!! It was ideal for me as I was exploring the area by train after arriving into Southampton Airport, just one stop away by train. The town centre is only a couple of minutes walk away with plenty of shops and pubs. Excellent in every way for what I needed.

Used it as a base when visiting relatives in Eastleigh. Stayed for 3 nights.
Nice clean room with new bed. Not much storage if staying longer. Not much of a view at the rear but not a problem.
Plenty of places to get food and drink close by.
As mentioned the car parking is a problem if you want free parking, but if are able to walk 200 yards there is plenty about for low costs for a town centre.
Pub next door does reasonable, cheap food.

Room Tip: View choice.... front is railway station / flight path, or rear is car parks, bus station, shopping...
