Stayed here Sep 07.

Bed - comfortable
TV - worked
Receptionist - Pleasant and informative
Room Temp - fine

Bathroom - fairly clean - but few things didnt work. i.e Towel Rail

Very basic hotel, had to ask for extra towels.

Room was 65 per night - premier inns are better. But sometimes even they can be noisey.

If you walked in off the street you would be fine here, but not a modern place. Just very basic but slept and was fairly quiet.

Stayed here for the Southampton Boat Show 14 and 15th September.
Booked on internet (couldnt get any where closer !)

We booked a non-smoking but got a smoking ( it stank, but hey ho, it was late , and travelodge was FULL).
Room OK (I am in a wheelchair, but can walk abit) so could get around room OK.
Bathroom OK (Towel rail was still there but DISSConnected).
Being close to the road might mean NOISE but the closed windows do a very good job.

Tea and coffee plus a kettle. Food from "Little Chef" or vending machine.
Girl on Desk was wonderfull, recomended the "Swan" pub for a meal, Well worth it Excellent.

In all A OK (ish) place to stop over. OK it could do with a "makeover" but you could do ALOT worse !!!!!!! Alan

This Travelodge is in need of refurbishment. The electric towel rail didn't work and had some bare wires showing, dangerous if you have young children, as the light on the wall showed the towel rail to still be live? The young receptionist said they were all going to be removed. The rooms and bathrooms showed signs of wear, mould etc.
This is not one of the better Travelodges.
