“Great value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2013

We have just taken out an RHS subscription using Teco clubcard points and what excellent value it is.
Hyde Hall has such a great range of planting areas and there's something to see at all times of year.
The restaurant in the barn is full of charm and there's also a well-stocked shop. The only shorcoming would be the small size of the garden centre; not a wide range of plants available but the staff did diect us to other local nurseries that would help us.
Added to that the monthly RHS magazine and all for £17 of vouchers!

Always a lovely experience - well worth a visit at any time of year. Picturesque setting, varied gardens, large lake, good plants to buy.

“A pleasant day out for all the family”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

I am an RHS member and live locally so I visit Hyde Hall regularly. It’s a great place to explore at all times of the year to see the changes throughout the seasons and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside from the top. The gardens are extensive, well stocked and ever expanding. The barn restaurant serves some home grown produce and delicious home cooked food. A steaming bowl of soup and home-made bread or cheese scone are a great warm up treat on a cold day or in the summer you can have a cream tea outside in the court yard. The RHS shop is extensive and well worth a visit, especially good for unusual Christmas gifts.

“An afternoon out”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013

My daughter-in-law's school had exhibited at Hyde Hall and I had been sent to pick up the exhibition articles once finished. It had been a long time since I had visited Hyde Hall even though I am only a 10 minute ride away. I had a very pleasant surprise as it had changed a lot in the meantime and there was a very large and well set out car park. Prior to collecting the items I had a walk round and found a lot had happened since my last visit. Lots of new planting and walkways and a glimpse into the cafe showed that this too had expanded and offered a good selection. I shall certainly be going back there this year, once the snow has gone which I hope will be by the time my grandchildren come to stay at Easter. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
