Visited OMF on Friday 19th July with my daughter and grandson, total cost of trip £21.50. Had a £10 off adult price token, + free child had to pay £3.50 for an armband to go on the fun fair rides? not sure how that is free child, and £1 bag of animal feed.
All in all had a good afternoon, saw, goats, horses pigs, rabbits, tortoises, meerkats, ferrets, Owls & birds, Grandson loved the puppet shows, Some of the rides were not working, (train, bumper tractors, Lots of picnic/seating areas, and plenty of hand wash areas too.
Overall the farm is a little tired but work is going on in various areas to make improvements, I was unhappy to see some of the animals were exhausted in the heat they looked so sad there didnt seem to be any shelters to enable them to get out of the sun, Understandably the sun has scorched the grass in many areas but there didnt seem any water or hay for the horses,

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and we are glad you describe this as an enjoyable afternoon. I am sorry if we confused you over the entrance for under 2s. Under 2s enter the farm free and can enjoy the indoor and outdoor play areas, the animated shows, the barn battles, the wobbly walks, the construction site and the adventure play as well of course as all the animals. If parents wish their small children to go on rides they do need a wristband for £3.50 for taht but we should always have encouraged you to look around first as there is so much to do without that. The wristband for over 2s is included within the entrance fee, even where the entrant has a money off ticket or token so I do regret that this was not properly explained. Also, our Farm Train had a temporary stop on the day due to the weather, so just like the real thing but everything else was up and running!

Thank you also for your concern about the animals which we appreciate, and they do have shade as all have shelters but the truth is this weather gives limited respite for any of us. So why not get in touch with us at the farm and come again as a guest and let us look in particular at the animals as we appreciate people who care about them as much as we do.
