I made the mistake of eating at The Cooden Beach Hotel - avoid the restaurant at all costs as it is grossly overpriced (that's an understatement).
This hotel is charging appalling rip-off prices for its food, i would avoid eating here at all costs as it will quite simply leaving you speechless for the prices they are charging even for a plate of fish and chips. At the Cooden Beach a plate of fish, chips and peas will set you back nearly £20!!!
I wouldn't expect to pay this in London let alone a shabby backwater hotel near Bexhill. Do your self a favour and save your hard earned money and take a walk to the local fish and chip shop instead - the quality, taste and price is 100% better at the local chippy.
Insultingly overpriced, i was not the only one who was complaining on this visit - says it all.
