“Amazing standards for a B&B ! Wot a finds!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Wow! I stayed just one night when going to a invert in Bexhill. I want to go back immediately!!!! Arden house looks nothing special upon arrival at front door BUT a very warm welcome and chat about facilities and local area and recommendation of restaurants for the evening is the kind of welcome you get from a private concierge in a 5 star hotel !!!! Let's not get silly, Arden house is not in the 5 star hotel league but it is like staying with friends- all very comfortable, spotlessly clean and such attention to detail!! Tea tray on room offers great selection and u get fresh milk!!! Great supply of toiletries. Bedrooms large with lovely decor. Who supplies a torch on bedside table in case if need during the night ? Fantastic breakfast served in conservatory overlooking garden. I got very wet in rainstorm walking back from concert and they even offered to tumble dry my clothes. I now need am excuse to return to bexhill!!!! U cannot be disappointed with this place or the hospitality of the owners!!!

Well done really good B&B. Beautifully furnished house, we have a lovely comfortable double room with ensuite. The shower had really good power always a plus. The breakfast was really good lots of choice and well cooked & served with a smile.Near the train station, easy walk to the sea and De La Warr pavilion.
Better than many hotels I have stayed in, lovely.

Room Tip: We had the room overlooking the garden which was lovely I also took a peek in a double at the front...

Excellent accommodation, breakfast and hospitality, couldn't fault it. Peter and Martin were great hosts, the house was spotless and the room comfortable and well equipped, and the breakfasts were fantastic.

If you want a B&B with charming hosts, who welcome you like old friends, where nothing is too much trouble then this is the place for you! A great location, near to trains and buses. A beautiful home as well as B&B, Peter and Martin are wonderful hosts. Breakfast is fabulous served in a gorgeous conservatory overlooking their well-loved garden. Very attentive and friendly - don’t stay anywhere else but here! Martin even dropped us at my parents’ house to save us walking as the weather was bad - now that is above and beyond customer expectations! Thank you both for a lovely stay and a pleasure to meet you.

Quite by chance I found this fabulous B&B. Mine hosts Peter and Martin could not have been more welcoming. It was like staying with friends. I had a huge room with a marvellous view of their lovely garden. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom spotless - well stocked with toiletries on a par with the best 5 star hotel. Breakfast was superb with so much choice of locally sourced produce. You can even have a delightful tray supper after an exhausting day out in this charming old style seaside town. The price was excellent considering the first rate service. I will be returning very soon

Room Tip: Book well ahead.

We were recommended to this excellent B & B. We came down to Bexhill-on-Sea for a family get together and Arden House was the "icing on the cake".
A comfortable and charming house with two friendly and charming hosts Peter and Martin.
The breakfast was excellent served in a charming conservatory overlooking a beautiful garden.

I had to stay as I was running a course nearby. This was a very comfortable and well appointed home. Peter made sure I had everything I needed to make my stay as comfortable as possible - nothing was too much trouble.

Breakfast - excellent. I had tasty mushrooms and tomatoes on toast after having had cereal and fresh fruit.

Price was at the top of my budget but had I gone with my husband it would have been better value. Sadly when travelling alone the cost is always higher.

Pity I was not able to stay longer but I am hoping to go back again in the future.

Room Tip: A Home from Home
