“Anniversary stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful hotel for our wedding anniversary. On arriving the staff were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed drinks in the bar before our evening meal which was fantastic and great value, the service was excellent and we felt most relaxed and looked after. I will definitely be recommending you to friends and family.

Thank you to Steve and staff for making my Niece's wedding a wonderful experience, nothing was to much trouble. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with a good supply of tea, coffee and water. Special thanks to Steve for being very accommodating on Friday. Although very busy with another wedding held that day, we were able to have dinner in. That meal, along with breakfast the next morning and the wedding breakfast, was excellent - our compliments to the Chef. Steve your staff are excellent, very courteous and made us feel welcome at all times. Once again thanks for everything - I hope we meet again in the future.

We had our wedding day at Leeford yesterday and it was well and truly perfect - we couldnt have asked for better - Steve the owner was brilliant from the time we made the inital enquiry all the way through to the day itself very accoomodating and couldnt do enough for us , Lisa his wife in the beauty salon Bella Therapy was amazing , all of the staff were friendly , courteous and again couldnt do enough for us - the location is a dream setting if you like a rural wedding with amazing grounds and perfect rooms - including a very very very large honeymoon suite - Karen Austin decorated the place into a wonderland , we had so many compliments from our guests about all of the above and to top it all the food was delicious and plentiful - thankyou to each and everyone at Leeford for making our day perfect

Thank you so much to Leeford place, manager steve and all the fabulous staff for making our best friends wedding spectacular, and our stay very comfortable. our room (Room 1) was extremely luxurious and clean, a huge super-king bed we had to run and jump to get into and plenty of tea, and coffee, bottled water and biscuits to feed us through the night. We enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast the next morning and had a long chat with Steve, the breakfast was cooked perfectly for my fussy husband and all the juice, fruit was beautiful.

For the price of £85pn - this is very reasonable. (i saw my friends bridal suite and it was gorgeous!!!)

the wedding itself was fantastic! - the staff were brilliant, the venue looked stunning and the disco was excellent - the ceremony room was beautiful and the lounge with seperate bar, lovely for meeting and chatting in luxury. the main room was the perfect size and looked beautiful.

the staff couldn't do enough over the 2 days we were there and I think this is real value for money. Great for weddings, or just a stay - a beautiful place for a fraction of the cost of many other's of the same size and style in the local area.

I cant wait to see my best friends piccies, as there were so many gorge places to take photo's

You could spend £20k on a wedding somewhere else, but i dont think the atmosphere would have been so warm and friendly.

well done Leeford.

Room Tip: Go for the Bridal Suite everytime - reasonable price, but extra luxurious.

We booked the night before we arrived at Leeford Place as it was a last minute decision to see an elderly relative nearby. From the moment I called the hotel to book a room I was treated in a friendly yet professional way. The hotel is very well sign posted for anyone not living in the area. The hotel is set in a beautiful countryside setting, and is full of character
On arrival we were given our key and directed to our room, we were really impressed it is a lovely hotel, the room (no 4) was spacious with a brilliant shower and beautiful view.
We decided to eat in that evening, wow what a fantastic meal and very reasonably priced. Breakfast too was great.
There was a wedding on the day of our departure the hotel looked fantastic, the cleaners had been shampooing carpets and were cleaning thoroughly when we left.
So thankyou to all who made our stay memorable for all the right reasons, we will back to be spoilt again!!! Great hotel, great value xx

Me and my partner have attended a function at Leeford Place Hotel last week and found it a superb place to go... service was great all the staff were very helpful and always had a smile on their face, same goes to Steve the manager...always going that extra mile to ensure our stay was as amazing as possible and did a great job as we havechosen this wwonderful place for our wedding venue. Also amazingly decorated by a very special lady (Karen Austin) who has a very gopd eye for detail making this lovely hotel a truly gorgeous place to go :) rooms were very nice too, spacious and clean. Food was awesome! Highly recommend to any one who wants a beautiful place to hold a great function or just a weekend break.... also dj was wonderful. Thank you everyone for a wonderful time :)

This is the second time I have had the privilege of collaborating with Leeford Place Hotel for a large function. As the previous function I had hosted there (a seated formal birthday dinner for 120 guests) had been so enjoyable and professionally managed by the Hotel without a single hitch, I proposed it as the perfect venue for a charity ball my daughter needed to find a venue for and I ended up helping her organise. As she had several guests attending from further afield, it was useful that the hotel could accommodate these people and they also offered a reduced rate for our guests which was a welcomed gesture. Our event started at 630pm with canapés and champagne, followed by a sit-down dinner, auction, entertainment and disco and I’m pleased to say that everything ran smoothly throughout the evening and have nothing but praise for all the hotel staff involved. We had to order unexpectedly several extra meals just an hour before the dinner which required the very swift moving by the waiting staff of place settings on the carefully laid tables; our pre-drinks reception also over-ran by half an hour impacting the serving time of our dinner. We clearly put lots of the staff to a great deal of extra pressure because of this but they remained very calm about these two incidents and dealt with them very professionally for which we were very grateful. Our meal was excellent and the service throughout was attentive, friendly and professional. The main reasons for returning to Leeford Place are that they are experienced big event organisers, they offer great value for money, they give excellent customer service and nothing is too much trouble for them We have received many compliments from our guests over the past few days about the event and also about the Hotel and its staff. A big thank you to Manager Steve Tindall, Bella Therapy’s Lisa Tindall, Karen Austin Decorations and all the numerous staff involved last Friday night for helping to make our charity fundraiser ball the success that it was. You all did a great job and we will hopefully be back next year for another charity fundraiser ball!!!
