“False advertisement”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2014 via mobile

The Internet makes it sound as though you will be driving on 1030m track, however this was a lie they don't even have a 1030m track only on very special days. There are two tracks, we booked over the phone and were told we would be on the 1030m track, however when we got there we weren't. There were two tracks, one bigger than the other but still rubbish compared to others we have been to. They never told us over the phone that you had to have more than 12 of you to be on the big track, they made out we would be! False advertisement. We realised we were being placed on what I could call a kids track so we asked for a refund. I would avoid this place at all costs. Definitely not worth the money. We were booked in at half ten, the staff weren't in any rush, slow service and could tell they weren't really bothered about providing good customer service.

“Fun day out ? Definitely not!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

Had our first visit to Anglia Karting yesterday. We were met by surly staff who clearly would rather have been doing something else on a hot Saturday afternoon, there were certainly no pleasantries. The track itself was good, but the set up seemed poorly organised. However, our day was completely ruined when my 12 year old son, who obviously has no driving experience, accidentally bumped into another kart in the pit. My son apologised to the other driver, who was ok and unhurt. However, the member of staff in charge was furious, and told my son in no uncertain terms that his behaviour was unacceptable, in fact he went on and on and on at my son. Now we do obviously understand the need for tight safety procedures for both customers and staff, and we paid attention to the safety briefing, but accidents do happen. My lad apologised again to the staff member and explained that it was an accident and he had not intended to come into the pit so quickly. However, this was not good enough for him. He then told my lad to go into the reception area, where he repeated the whole telling off process again, he clearly wanted to make my son cry. This is nothing short of bullying tactics and I knew that I had to simply get my kids out of there. This situation was dealt with most unprofessionally with absolutely no customer care or service. We left feeling very distressed and £80 lighter for our troubles. Would we ever return? Absolutely not.

“Fun in the sticks”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

We were part of a group - parents and children. All had fun - we had two sessions of 15 mins. They provide all the equipment. It's not cheap but for something different to do occassionally it is worth doing - in a group.

“Good laugh”

They don't take it too seriously which is good. Always safe though. Good kit and the karts seem to withstand the bad driving.

“Awesome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

If you're thrill seeking in Norfolk, look no further! We went as a group of 8 adults, some of whom had been karting before while others were total newbies - ages ranging from late teens to early 50s. Needless to say, we all had a fantastic time. The staff were very efficient in getting us kitted out in safety gear - we also had to sit through a 5 minute safety video. We had the track to ourselves for 30 minutes, in two race sessions lasting 15 minutes each with a 15 minute interval in the middle. Be warned the karts are very fast and the track has some tricky corners - so while it's fine to be a beginner you need to be brave enough to get stuck in. Regardless of skill level though, it's a great way to get the adrenaline pumping. The staff were very accommodating and were on hand as soon as anyone bumped into the side or spun around. None of us had any fears for our safety whatsoever. Having said that, Go Karts offer a bumpy, uncomfortable ride - so be prepared to walk away with a few bruises!
