“Would eat here again.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

This pub/restaurant has been re-furbished and is seems much larger inside now. The view is stunning overlooking the sea. Very quite mid-week in December (we were the only ones eating and only 2 other people drinking) but that's to be expected in this seaside town. Staff were pleasant and the food delivered extremely quickly (3 meals within 10 minutes). Not home cooked from scratch, l'd say, but enjoyable nevertheless and filling. I would go back to eat at the 'Two Lifeboats'. Affordable pub style food in a lovely setting. Roll on the summer as there is seating outside which would be great with the fabulous view.

“not too impressed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Popped in with a group of friends, first pint of ale tasted like vinegar ! food was ok but limited if you are a veggie like some of my friends, place had been refurbished I'd been told, they certainly removed the atmosphere, pity cos its in a great location and could be so good.

“Just the ticket”

With a group of 7 and 2 babies this pub was ideal for lunch and provided much needed shelter from the wind. Simple pub grub in a friendly and modern environment at a reasonable price .

“Good for lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2012

Although fairly busy we could still get a table for six, the kids could have a good cooked lunch and the adults a ploughmans or sandwich which was just right.

“1940s weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

We arrived in Sheringham on Friday evening after a long car journey and went to the Lifeboats for our evening meal as we'd been told that it had changed owners and was an improvement on the previous owners.
We ate early evening and there were plenty of tables free, the menu was reasonable for a pub and catered for most tastes.
We ordered our four main meals at the bar and paid £30 for four adults main meals. The food was served very quickly and he only real complaint was that the chicken dish (BBQ chicken melt) could have been a little warmer.
The portions were of a good size and everyone agreed that the food was tasty and good quality.
I'd recommend the Two Lifeboats for a quick evening meal.
The pub is very clean and has been refurbished recently and is a great improvement on the standard of 12 months ago, the new owners are to be congratulated on the improvements.
