Had a takeaway from this restaurant tonight and as far as the food is concerned at best you could only call it average. My wife's pasanda was awful, menu description: cooked in a rich creamy coconut and almond sauce, the reality was chicken floating in a very watery coloured sauce. My dish Garlic Chicken Chilli Masala in fairness was very nice indeed, our naan breads were only half cooked and very soggy in the middle.
My main issue with this place is that their menu clearly states that they offer 10% discount on collection orders and a free bottle of wine on orders over £25. My order was for nearly £28 and my bill was £25-30 after 10% discount had been applied. When I was given my food there was no bottle of wine so I asked were it was and was told you have had 10% off your bill you can't have any wine, I said I have still spent over £25 I want my wine and they refused to hand it over saying we have given you some free poppadoms. I offered to pay back the 10% discount, a little over £2-50 to get the bottle of wine but they refused saying that I was only allowed to claim the discount as it was a take-away order and I was not dining in even though it doesn't say this on the menu.
It is very wrong to rip off and deceive your customers needless to say I will never come back again.
Think I will be contacting Trading Standards as you can not get away with things like this.
