“Excellence, quaint room, attentive and caring service, great part of town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

THis was my most enjoyable stay in Greece. (my worst was Ilio Maris hotel in Mykonos, which was totally opposite of this experience)

This hotel has a meeting area upon arrival. I was given candy and ice water then shown to my room. Everything was prompt and orderly.

The room was so quaint with all the basics downstairs just inches from the street, making it very convenient for leaving and entering.

Breakfast is in a beautiful courtyard with fig trees an lemon trees. I enjoyed the Greek Coffee. Breakfast is very simple, toasts, soft boiled egg.

THe owner is gracious and helpful . She helped me wrap up a box with string even though I didnt ask for this. I was taking a ferry out that day and without the string, I would have had a hard time carrying it around.

They had great knowledge of guest services.

I was even brought a breakfast into my room at one point as I wanted to eat indoors where it was cool.
Just a short walk and you are in town. TInos is a very impressive island with great clothes shopping and jars of fruit unique to This island

Room Tip: I liked the room facing the breakfast area.

Stylish simplicity at this hotel. Clean and practical room which looks recently modernised. Great breakfast, served in one of two gardens, both decorated with some quirky features, and one having a small 'hot tub' type pool. Hosts very welcoming. Five minutes walk from the old port and town, and only ten minutes from new port. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

We were collected from port on time. The rooms beautifully decorated, lovely style, breakfast area really nice outdoors lots of plants/flowers, breakfast was plentiful and lovely too.
Location is on a fairly quiet street within 5 mins walking distance to sea and restaurants, doesn't have a sea view but it doesn't need it. Anna met us with a refreshing cold lemonade on arrival, and staff are very nice, bed linen and towels changed every day, lovely little touches like shirts folded up and laid on the bed. Wi-fi is good.
Anna said they just won an award for their hotel, and I can only say it is well deserved. What the island lacks in terms of excitement and activities is certainly compensated for by the friendliness of the local people, who couldn't be nicer.
I would highly recommend Vincenzo Rooms.

We visited the island of Tinos in New Year's Eve and stayed for three days at the Hotel Vincenzo. It was indeed an excellent stay. The room was very comfortable, very beautiful with a very reasonable price. It was clean, tidy and nicely decorated. The room service was excellent. Breakfast was tasty and plenty. Indeed, Vincenzo Hotel is a very good choice to stay if you visit the island of Tinos in Greece.

We stayed at Vincenzo's for two nights on Oct 7 & 8. The place is great and the people who run it make it even better. We felt welcomed from the minute we were picked up at the port. Anna welcomed us with some candy and a very refreshing glass of cold water and was very helpful during our stay. Our studio was on the top floor and although there is no elevator, i was able to move our luggage easily and i had help with one of the bags. A baby cot was provided on a short notice which was very accommodating.
The studio was charming and we enjoyed it very much. The only recommendation is to have a shower curtain in the bath but otherwise we liked the homey feel of the studio. We had the top veranda to ourselves and it was very nice to sit outside in the evening and listen to the sound of Tinos. Breakfast was a good mix of Greek and continental varieties and was fulfilling.
On our departure day, we were hit with the first drizzle of the season and the owner's son let us hang out in the vehicle until the ferry arrived. We found it very considerate and accommodating since we were worried about getting our luggage wet.
Overall, we will stay at Vincenzo's again in a heart beat. Great place run by great people. We hope to be back in Tinos and back at Vincenzo's soon.

Room Tip: If there are any mobility issues, avoid the top floor.

We are a well travelled middle aged couple who travel annually to Greece and have visited most of the island in the Cyclades. We are therefore familiar with the accomodation available on these islands. This year we visited Tinos and stayed at the Vincenzo Family Hotel having read about it on trip advisor and having spoken to the Manager Ana. The hotel has about 15 rooms. We asked for a quiet room and were given a room in the courtyard. The room was large and comfortable. Unusually it had a Queen bed and and a Jacuzzi shower. The air conditioned room was serviced twice a day and was spotlessly clean. A turkish delight was left on youir pillow each night after turndown. Breakfast was served in the courtyard under a lemon tree and was freshly prepared. Accross the road ther is a large Jacuzzi and a small lying out area for guests along with a barbeque area should you be so inclined. What we reaklly liked was the friendlinness of Ioannis, the owner, Ana and all the staff. The location was spot on just off the m ain street near the Cultural Centre. Although Tinos is known as the 'Pilgrimage Island' it is really well worth visiting with lots to see and do. If you do decide to travel we would have no hesitation in recommending Vincenzo Family Hotel.

A quiet hotel with basic rooms and in the style of the traditional island design. The hotel is located in the center of Tinos. The price is reasonable. Value for money. Breakfast was good. Service and attention from the family was excellent.
