Me and my friend here for 1 week in June. We were expecting a hotel at the beach but it was actually 50 meters to the beach and the beach wasnt even nice, but all rocks. You should be prepared that the beach-staff wants something like 6-7 euros (one time they wanted 10!) for rent of the sunbeads and umbrella but we made it 0 most of the times cus i refused to pay it. We was at this beach maybe 1 or 2 times but we actually walked 3 km each day for the Starbeach at the other side of Hersonissos. This beach is so much better! If I was going to Hersonissos i will deffenetly live there. The hotel is very close to a scandinavian bar but its very poor. The best bars and clubs are in the middle of the bar street and i highly recommend Palm Beach and New York. This is the best places to go but be aware its a litlle bit expencive to drink. If you want to drink and eat cheap go to Johnnys. I will also highly recommend the best place in the world, The Sea side bar. Its next to Palm beach and the people who owns the place treat you like you are family.. :) We loved it so much! They also have the best pancakes in town! Otherwise the hotel staff was very nice and helpfull. The room was clean and had a lot of space (we ordered the two rooms) But if i had to choose again i would probably live more in the middle of barstreet and not in that end that we lived in. The pool is very small and we never used it. The sun isnt there for as long either so i wouldnt choose this hotel for just "stayin at the hotel". And remember to pay for aircondition cus it gets pretty hot in there without it. We didnt have aircondition a single day but i would recomend it to others.

My friend and I stayed here at the beginning of June 2014. We had a superior sea view apartment. We arrived at about 9PM and were given a side sea room. They apologised for the mistake and promised us a sea view room the following day. They kept their promise and we were also given the safe key free for the week as an apology. The hotel staff were overall very friendly.

The rooms are spotless and decor is modern. They're also very spacious, including the balcony! The only thing I'd say is that the aircon was in the bedroom, so if you were a family, it could get pretty hot in the living area where the two other people sleep. But we left the aircon on during the day with the door open, it circulated pretty well around the apartment so I guess that could be a solution.

The location was perfect, right opposite the beach (sun beds and umbrellas are 2euros a day which is pretty cheap in my experience) Beach is stoney but not too much of an issue, the sea is very shallow which is good for kids and the guy working on the beach was very sweet and polite, not intrusive at all which was very much appreciated! The hotel is also about 30 seconds walk away from the bottom of the strip which has an abundance of restaurants, bars, clubs and shops. But you can't hear any of the noise from the hotel which meant lovely undisturbed sleeps.

We only ate at the hotel restaurant once. It has a lovely view over the sea and the staff and very friendly but to be honest the food was a bit bland. There are so many better restaurants along the strip. We are two girls aged 25 and 27 who wanted lively nightlife but also a couple of quieter nights with nice food and a few cocktails. Hersonissos was perfect for this. Palm Beach Club was good fun and Shennanigans was a bar that we went to three or four times until the early hours of the morning.

We were told we were the only English people in the hotel and we quickly learnt that Hersonissos is a very European resort (lots of Norweigans, Dutch, Italians, Russians, Spanish etc.). We only met one other English couple in our entire week but this didn't matter at all to us. Everyone speaks English and everyone is really friendly. If anything it was nice to not have that Brits abroad/Malia atmosphere.

We didn't go to the pool once so I can't comment on that but we did see it and it looked pretty small and didn't get the sun all day. Plus it got pretty hot towards the end of the week so the beach was the best place to be to get some of the sea breeze.

All in all we were really happy with this hotel and the resort. I would recommend it!!!

Room Tip: We were in 201, I have a feeling 202 may have had an even larger balcony but to be honest we were pe...

4 friends and I stayed here on an all inclusive basis a few years ago. There wasn't a pool then but is now which is fantastic! The location is perfect as you can walk from the hotel straight onto a small area of the beach which feels personal.

The all inclusive was buffet, pretty similar food each day - however it was great for a fresh breakfast every morning. Staff friendly and a good selection of drinks.

The rooms were perfect for what we needed - clean, nice balcony and roomy (we were sharing 2-3 in a room at the time as we were younger and was a girly holiday!) It is a great hotel for couples and families alike, Hersonissos is a gorgeous place - not too touristy when we went so no "brits abroad" but with plenty of nightlife and restaurants.

Star Beach is fantastic for a visit during the day too.

I highly reccommend this hotel. Excellent for families.
The pool is not so large, but the sea is very close.

hey, one of the best holidays in my life. The place is marvelous, clean with really perfect location. You walk down from yr room and the beach is there. 2 minutes walk and you are on the main party street with lots of great pubs/clubs and whatever you like. If you want to rent a car or arrange some excursion all you need to do is walk like 1 minute. All what you need is there!!! Special praise goes to Alia restaurant - friendly staff, very good food and I cannot remember a night when at the end of the day, or beginning, we did not stop for some drinks!!! Alltogether a fantastic experience!!! Hope you find this usefull when planning yr dream holidays:)

We have visited Alia hotel last year, and I must admit that, leisure facilities & food exceeded our requirements!!! We had two kids with us, and we were impressed how children friendly the hotel was.
The Hotel was fantastic, very clean spacious apartments with an absolutely impressive sea view!! The staff were superb, very friendly and helpful; the facilities were great. The location can't be beaten - it's right in the centre of Herssonissos and just a few steps away from the beach!!
I would certainly stay here again and would recommend others to stay as well!

Hotel is in a good position, studios are large and handy equipped: living room with a small kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and a balcony. The bathroom seems as newly renovated, the same for the wall painting. On the whole the hotel is clean (the room more than the common areas), and people are kind and helpful. They can arrange a taxi transfer from/to the airport (40 euro per trip, an average fare).
In our opinion, the only remark is the insufficient sound insulation especially if you go to bed before midnight (traffic and people from road and nearby rooms, even with closed windows). Be careful of the breakfast time: usually it is from 9:30 to 11:00, a bit too late if you rent a car for doing trips in the island.
Finally, have a look in the gift shop in the corner (Anna and Dimitri): they have a lot of fun things!
