“A little piece of heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2010

This was my third stay at the Serita Beach Hotel. It is I agree, not a 5* but a very good 3* but by greek standards this hotel is luxury. The staff and service could not be faulted. The hotel is super clean and after 1 week you feel so relaxed its untrue. There are two pools, one they call the "quiet pool" which is gorgeous with no noise at all. The bigger pool is great for children and animation team are enthusiastic and really make everyone feel welcome. The all inclusive is well worth the money, bar service fab, beach bar open all day for snacks and drinks. The only fault if I had to pick one is the beds are uncomfortable but its worth the sacrifice for such a great hotel in a fab location. You can be sure you will love this hotel and not want to come home.

We visited the serita Beach at the end of sept 2008 and found that although the staff worked hard this was not for us.

Firstly I get the impression that a lot of people are expecting the Ritz. This hotel is a European 5 star which is essentially a jazzed up 3 star if you're used to UK hotels. Staff were fantastic, not all of the facilities are as described, but the important ones are. Satellite TV compromised BBC world news and a music channel. All of the rest were foreign language channels. The Animation Team were great, encouraging people to take part and have some fun outside of sunbathing. Whatever these guys and girls are taking...I want some of! The Pool Bar has a cool, sultry and moody looking bar man for the ladies, whilst the evening bar staff are more for the men! We had a very hardworking restaurant manager in the Pizzeria who tells us that he will shorly be working in the Cocktail bar. NB Coctail bar will only serve aprox 8 cocktails so if you want something more adventurous then you need to ask for the ingredients separately and mix yourself.

The local area isn't exactly lively, but if you are there simply to relax and enjoy the views and the Greek drinks then the location will not matter one iota. Plenty of trips to go on and the hotel are happy to organise hire cars/bikes for you.

Final tip is that the local wine can take a bit of getting used to. If you are a wine tart like me then ensure that you buy your favourite spirit in the airport as the alternatives in the hotel can be a little like picking up a Panda Cola when you're expecting Coca Cola.

Amazing holiday!
Loved every minute, staff so friendly and attentive, excellent food and drink selections.
Would return again in a heartbeat!
Great location, not far from main touristy areas but far enough away from them if it's not your scene!

All in all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Says it's 5 star, not by English standards, but great none the less!

We had a bungalow with stunning sea view, just beautiful!

Also the added bonus of wifi in the hotel lobby, which wasn't mentioned in the brochure.

Don't hesitate and worry about negative reviews on here, get it booked!

had room in bungalows overlooking the quiet pool, lovely room very clean, bathroom could do with a referb old taps and a hand held shower.
Food something for everyone and plenty of it self service buffet style.
POOL AREA IS TREACHEROUS TAKE CARE AND SMALL STEPS
ALSO THE HOTEL IS TERRACED WITH NO HANDRAILS
Kept immaculately clean, everyone very friendly staff were amazing and very attentive, bar staff were incredible, constantly round taking orders, but I suppose it the height of the season they might be overwhelmed.
6 of us had 76 drinks one quiet day tea, coffee, juice, beers cocktails ect we reckon that we were drinking over 250 euro a day,if we were paying.
It all depends on what you pay cost me £430 for 7 days and after costing out VAT,flights, supplements and transfers the tour operator and the hotel had £ 20 per day between them, how can they do it.
Takes more that a loose tap and a hand held shower to ruin a holiday for me. its what you make of it, a guy complained to reception of a dead fly on his pillow (it must have wanted a comfortable end !)
Go there and enjoy yourself, the staff make up for any shortcomings

This just had to be the cleanest hotel in EVER.... lovely big rooms, lovely staff (we usually find that if you smile at the staff they will smile back...take note miserable and rude brits). Food was plenty, but just down road the requisite frozen burgers and chips (for moapy teen girl) was only 3.50 euros so you can give it a whirl for a change. I ve been going to Greece for years and i thought the Serita was absolutely lovely and i was so gobsmacked by some of the feedback certain people gave it, animation was OK, admitedly you will only go once or twice (why would anyone want this daily is beyond me) The beach was absolutely amazing and despite the one day of rain I was on it practically all day! Looved it going back in September this time without Miss Moany Teen!

This hotel was really clean, I mean exceptionally clean, very relaxing rooms cleaned regular to an excellent high standard. All the greek staff, maids hotel staff and especially bar staff were so polite and treated me and my family very well.

But.... the french animation staff were extremely rude as well as the french guests. When my family and I were first relaxing in hotel restaurant, one french animation staff came over leaning over me drunk, this scared my son so i told him to move. He was then verbally abusive to me. I reported this to the reception staff to pass on to the manager, he may well have been warned about his attitude but yet no apology followed. There is nothing to do for kids if you are not french as they entertain their own nationality and no one else.

The food was awful apart from the french fries and kebab meat which was nice and tasty. The deserts were average. I would stay here for a clean hotel but never stay here to relax and enjoy polite company from such rude guests.

This hotel is placed on a beach, not a blue flag beach so a bit like going to Blackpool beach, extremely dirty (e.g. dog fouling sand etc).

Good to have the experience but total waste of money.
