As we could not find the direct ticket of Kadpadi we were forced to go there by breaking out. In our route we stayed in Puri for 1 night and our agent booked this hotel for us in a very cheap rate. The rooms and bath rooms of this hotel is great if you consider our rate but when we notice the tariff it sounds to high. The staffs of this hotel is good they are allays ready to help you As we had stayed here only one night and also in a very low price I fill we are not in a position to be critical but the others were complaining sum thing about all the time. If you are in a short break this could be a good option if not a great.

i stayed here in september 2002 shortly after it was built, and it wasnt too bad(3/10)but on other visits to ct road ive dropped in and checked it out and found it to be a doss hole that i would only recommend as a last resort if the road was full.ive slept on roofs and temple ground and found it more comfortable and clean.its near a money changer and a bad selection of eateries that i think are only ther to rip people off.the other end of ct road by the bangha shop near by the fishing village is much better than this place and is cheaper.if any-one is thinking of going to puri and needs some-where to stay then i recommend staying clear of this hotel.infact i would go so far to say that dont even pay for a room on line,as there are many hotels available on arival and are cheaper cutting out the middle man.good garden restaurants in ct road too.no need to eat in your hotel at high prices

HOTEL REVIEW-HOTEL ARYA PALACE PURI, ORISSA

Our families and I together with my brother stayed at Hotel Arya Palace for just one night on 09 Feb. 2010 in the two a/c rooms booked through yatra.com, even though the booking was for three nights from 09 to 12 Feb. We decided to check out just after first night and let the payment for two nights to lapse. We moved over to hotel Holiday Resort just across the road for the next two nights. One can imagine the terribly bitter experience that prompted us to forget and suffer the loss of payments of over Rs 4000/-already made on-line besides huge inconveniences in having to shift to another hotel. The experience of just one night was nothing short of a nightmare, full of anxiety, tension, disturbance and discomfort. Nothing seemed to work and we had no choice, having already paid on-line through yatra.com.
Having to wait for over 3hours to get into the rooms to be vacated by a marriage party, unwelcome reception and unfriendly front office manager on the day of check-in on 09 Feb to leaking water taps, absence of clothes hangers in the bath rooms, dirty and unclean buckets, swarming mosquitoes, frequent bell calls, dirty, torn and bad smelling linen, shabbily dressed and untrained staff, poor maintenance, , tables without napkins and proper cutlery in the restaurant-name a deficiency and it was there. All the things told a story of appalling neglect, extremely deficient service and the highest level of customer dissatisfaction. This is tantamount to exploitation of gullible and hapless customers.
No Id proof was being asked from the checking-in guests, which is violation of the security code and poses a serious security threat.
I rank this hotel, if hotel is the right name for this dhaba-type exploitation house, as the worst and ultimate in disservice to the guests. It is bad value for money.
I asked for complaint book/suggestion book from the manager. He had none. No such book was maintained by the hotel. The manager was full of apologies and attributed it to lack of interest on the part of management. We happened to meet the partner/owner Mr. Panda who promised to improve the things in due course of time.
I would like to draw the attention of OTDC, Government of Orissa and the media to take action as necessary to prevent the continuance of such malpractices in hotel industry to salvage the good name of Orissa tourism. On our part we decided never again to visit Orissa for a holiday.

It was a four storied building just opposite to the Hotel holiday resort . Room was good but no clear view of the sea from the hotel . There was one vegetable restaurant too. Tariff was average . It was very near to the Railway station and close to the beach area. Average hotel for budget travelers.
