Lovely Art pieces. Very intricate work done on fabric. the prep of this was brilliant... pricey pieces but well worth the money spent.

“Beware of fake raghurajpur”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013

Beware of fake raghurajpur.......there are many car or auto drivers in puri who will drop you to a place near raghurajpur where u will see some artist doing there art for which raghuraj pur is famous and there is only few huts.driver will tell u this is the raghurajpur.but its fake.cost of those articrafts are very high from which ur driver will collect comission.
In real raghurajpur there is a old temple and its only little far.

“amazing workmanship”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

it was on 03.12.2013 that we had visited R.R.Pur,2kms left from chandanpur. The village was calm from outside appearance, but nearly in every house there were peoples who were giving their best to their products. place was amazing and the work of the artisans was fascinating and a treat to watch.we got a live demo of how the palmleaf art is done, really marvellous, one artisan was working on a saree painting, and byGod it was so beautifully going on in front of us,that we had lots and lots of praises for him and his work, also i was informed that there are screen printing arts and were in sales in market, which i feel is unjust to these true artisans .I sincerely hope that the infrastructure of this village and the people can be raised by the govt.

“Raghurajpur”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2013

Famous for Patchitra and Talpatra Art. There about 50 houses all of whom make these. Design and artistry is almost similar but rates vary. Not a place for anybody who does not understand or appreciate art.
