I stayed in this hotel from 20th to 22nd Sep 2013. My stay was OK, the staffs are cordial but untrained and lack professional approach. The food choice , quality and taste was very basicand surely needs improvement. The location is far from the madding crowd of Swargadwar and very serene. The beach is very neat and I loved it. Can spend hours just sittiing under the thached umbrella. Its like private beach. I stayed in one of their best Room(406) Super Dlx. Its in 3rd floor and view from balcony is fantastic. Room size is very small and the bed provided is very small and its difficult for 2 adults to have a comfortable sleep.Decor is tasteless and pathetic and too goddy,a mineral water dispenser is placed in the room which is an eye soar and eats up lots of space of such a small room.My overall experiance is average but the Beach and peaceful location is the USP of this Hotel.

Room Tip: 3rd floor sea facing with balcony.

I was in Puri with my family from 3rd June till 7th of 2013... we were staying in the Hotel Dreamland... this is my 8th visit to Puri, but definitely this time it was the best trip so far which is purely for the Hotel.... we have liked the hotel very much... the location is good, far from the crowd of Swargadwar.. the beach opposite the hotel is clean and you can spend plenty of time by only sitting there... the reception and all other staffs, including the restaurant and house-keeping, were very good, gentle and supportive.... food, mainly lunch items are extremely delicious...rooms were also good, spacious, sea facing and well decorated.... ACs were good... the roof is also very nice... altogether our stay in Hotel Dreamland was very smooth..... next time also I wish to stay there....

Room Tip: The rooms in the 2nd floors are best rooms...

I stayed in the hotel for 3 days and found it to be good. The room rents are reasonable and the rooms are well in order. The sea facing rooms are good and an the view is excellent you can lie down and watch the sea.The food is excellent the Bengali food is the best in Puri, they have other dishes of which Chinese food is excellent, the choice of continental food is limited but still available, tandori dishes are also available and is good. The service is also good and the best thing is they take personal care in it. The beach is quite and serine as if it is a personal beach. Overall it is value for money.

Room Tip: All sea facing rooms

My family is very regular to Puri. We end up with at least one visit of not less than 6 days to Puri. A few years back after Nilachal Ashok, Puri was locked out we needed an alternative arrangement. Some acquaintance suggested me Hotel Dream Land. We walked into a never ending nightmare. The linen in the hotel was dirty on check in. The do not change your towels. The rooms are cleaned in a manner which may be termed as an eye wash since it is not at all effective. On complaint to the manager he refused to co-operate and when we decided to change our hotel he said we needed to pay for all six days for each room to check out. We where left with no other option but to put up with the modernised extortion of money. In my personal opinion not the place to be in. Yes you want a budget stay as a student well might work out for you. The food sucks and the toilets stink. You might not be able to step into the restaurant due to the oder. I would personally recommend AVOID... as terrible is an understatement...

We had been in hotel Dreamland from 18/12/2012 to 21/12/2012 ie 4days.
Reception staff was very kind and supportive in nature. it is at a distance from Swargdwar still you can get the cycle Rikshow or Rikshow from there. Beach opposite to hotel is clean and less crowded. house keeping service is good. Non-Veg food lover can enjoy but pure veg person has to go out for the food. rooms were clean A/c Were working properly. We enjoyed the stay.only one thing is pinpointing is Location , that slight away from main market Swargdwar. if you want to stay with silent mood the hotel is preferable. pl.remember TEA/COFFEE services not available evevn all time.

I travelled with elderly relatives, a couple in their late 70s, to Puri recently and stayed at Hotel Dreamland. It is located far from the madness of Swargadar. The rooms overlook the sea---- which is barely 100 meters away from the hotel compound. I enjoyed walking on the beach at sunrise and sunset--- it was very safe and there were always a few people strolling as well. The beach is a public beach and not very clean, but it was way better than many others I have seen elsewhere. The hotel has been freshly painted. We stayed in delux rooms which were reasonably well maintained. The sheets were changed daily and the bathrooms were clean. The food was good and moderatey priced. The hotel is frequented by many Bengali tourists, so there was a wide array of Bengali dishes, but there was an equally nice assortment of Chinese and North Indian preparations. Having a lift in the hotel made it convenient for my elderly relatives. The staff was polite and courteous. I would advise the hotel to install electric kettles in the rooms so we can make tea/coffee. On the whole a good and relaxing stay.
