“Daylight Robbers”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

The good things first. The quality of food is good, I have no second thoughts about that.

BUT, everything else goes horribly wrong for this eatery. The food takes forever to come, and when it comes, you are bound to be very very UNpleasantly surprised. Some of us ordered the 120-rupee thali and the quantity of rice that was served was RIDICULOUS. The bowl of rice was smaller than an ice-cream cup!! This is a sacrilege. It's very clear that this is a cheap trick to get the customer to order extra rice which comes at 50 rupees a plate. I ordered the "Chef's Favorite" Jhinga(prawn) Biryani. 400 rupees for the full plate which is just about adequate for an average eater. And this place does not even belong in a 3-star hotel. It's just a cozy roadside eatery - a glorified Bengali mess if I may say so without malice.

So heads up! 3 words - AVOID this place
