My husband and I had the downstairs of "the barn" all to ourselves. There were 2 huge rooms and baths, and a big living/dining/kitchen area.The space soon warmed up with all the baseboard heaters. We were so glad there was no noise from rattling heat/Ac units such we had met many places we'd stayed before. There were no outside lights shining in the windows, and it was so quiet. We had the Stone Room and slept very well; the bed was really comfortable. I was concerned about the trains which run right beside the highway nearby, but need not have worried. The thick stone walls of that old barn absorb sound.
Our little dog loved running around in the snow and snuffling about in the big yard. In the morning Teresa prepared breakfast in the main house and brought it over on a tray. There was fruit, yogourt, biscuits, bacon, and eggs on hashbrowns. More than we could eat! She is a charming lady and enthusiatic about running her B&B. She was working alone since we were the only guests, so breakfast was 15 minutes late, but we didn't mind because it was such nice place to stay.
