My friends and I stay at The Ivy always and we must say, Alli and Marin make us feel just as welcome as if we were at The Pines. They are superb hosts! We wouldn't think of any other place to stay while in the Dresden area... Thank you Marin and Alli for once again, showing us a grand time. And as always, Continental or breakfast with you two, is a delicious experience. Your German pancakes are so scruptous.Give Sissy a hug for us, and Oreo. The Starlings you can just shush away.LOL

Marin and Alli are excellent hosts, and we so enjoyed our time at their inn. They made us almost feel like family, and I felt like we should hug them when we left. Our stay was quiet, and they made us feel right at home. Sissy and the cats were so enjoyable, and we wish it had been warmer so we could have spent some time outside in the yard with the fire pit and gazebo. Perhaps another time. While the shops in Dresden have dwindled a bit, the shopkeepers were so incredibly warm and friendly, it made us remember exactly why we enjoy visiting Dresden.

Marin's breakfasts were to die for and truly got us off on the right foot each day. We rarely needed lunch. Spent an evening playing cards in the kitchen while Marin cooked up his and Alli's dinner that evening. You both are so funny and full of stories. At times it felt like we were in a living sitcom. Can't believe how much we laughed. So funny to meet others from Michigan during our stay, but that's the Midwest for you.

Wishing you loads of success and years of love.

Room Tip: Cooler downstairs in the summer.

We have stayed at both The Pines and The Ivy. While the Ivy is clean and nicely decorated, if you want the full B&B experience you should definately stay at The Pines. When booking a room on a discount website, we failed to notice that we booked The Wicker Room at The Ivy B&B. We enjoyed our stay there, but it has a continental breakfast as opposed to the Gourmet Hot Breakfast that Marin prepares at The Pines (along with the evening dessert). His cooking alone is a reason to make sure you book a room at The Pines. So if you just need a bed to sleep in, The Ivy is a convenient, clean option. But if you want to be pampered and have one of the best breakfasts you will EVER eat, make sure you book a room at The Pines!

Room Tip: Make sure your room is at The Pines, not The Ivy B&B. The 4 Rooms named after birds are all at...

We absolutely could not have found a better place to stay. Breakfast was fit for a king and the bedrooms were simply wonderful to stay in. We will never stay anyplace else as long as we are coming back to see our daughter and grandchildren. We elected to have dinner prepared and it was possibly one of the best dinners we have ever had. Wel worth every cent!!!!!

Room Tip: The couple who own this B&B advised us of which one they thought we'd prefer and they were r...

Note: This review is for The Ivy B&B at Dresden: 719 Main St, Dresden, OH

We stopped over for one night on the way from Illinois to Maryland. We found a warm and cozy room with all the required things you need for a nice stay. The Sunshine Room was very clean, neat, impeccable and everything was in its proper place. The breakfast was delicious, with amazing blueberry muffins. A special mention to Allison's hand-written notes, which made us feel very welcome!

Superb stay!

Room Tip: Ensure you speak with Allison (the owner) first!

Very comfortable room and the breakfast and nighttime dessert was excellent. Owners gracious and helpful. Allison and Marin gave us good tips and directions on restaurants and attractions in the area. The rooms were nicely air-conditioned which was a real bonus since it was a warm and humid weekend.

Room Tip: Each room is lovely.
