I try to order different items whenever I visit this restaurant. Some are good and some I wouldn't order again. It's not that anything is wrong, just that I didn't care for the taste or presentation. The steak kebab is excellent but my favorite are the lamb shanks offered only on the weekends. Well worth the effort. The lentil soup is superb and the turkish coffee is always treat for me. The atmosphere is very "rich" looking. (dark stained wood panels displaying excellent craftsmanship) and provides a very warm and friendly place to eat, converse and relax. Booths offer a fair amount of privacy but you're not shielded from visual contact with others because the main dining room is a relatively large, open space. However there is a separate room to accommodate overflow or very large groups. I've never had bad service except I have had to flag down somebody for my check a few times. I was visited a couple of times iand asked if everything is ok and water glasses never below half full. I brought family there for Easter lunch as well as week nights and weekend evening meals. I would recommend you visit this independently owned establishment. Fortunately it's not another cookie cut chain. You'll be treated like a family guest. Very welcomed.
