We were in Columbus recently for our daughter's graduation from OSU, and we were very happy with our hotel suite. The beds were comfortable, the room nicely furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped and very convenient. NOTE: There is a Whole Foods across the street--great planning on someone's part and mutually beneficial! There are also excellent restaurants within walking distance--in particular, Bruegger’s, a quality chain known bagels and breakfast and lunch fare, across the street; upscale Hudson 29 one side of the hotel; and La Chatelaine, a French bistro-bakery on the other, all three reviewed in the restaurant section on this website. Our suite (one queen bed and a sleeper sofa) had a nice TV in the bedroom and another one in the livingroom, which should minimize competition between siblings (and parents!) who don't want to miss their favorite shows. The staff members were helpful and courteous. The breakfast is OK, nothing special--but it's better, I think, than most "free" breakfasts offered by similar hotel chains. A nice plus, I thought, was the inclusion of not one but two thermostats, which were very user-friendly and responsive. Our only cavil was that we did hear water trickling through pipes in the adjoining (upstairs?) room when the shower was on, which may be an issue for light sleepers. Since our room was on the front of the hotel, facing the street, we were somewhat concerned about street noise (there were large windows facing and on one side of the bed); and while we did occasionally hear a large truck or noisy motorcycle, noise was not much of an issue.
