“Consistency”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2014

Stayed here 2 nights last week. It is a typical Courtyard. Very good front desk staff. Clean, new style lobby. Has the bistro type food setup. Hard to call it a restaurant. Beds have not been updated to the new style. HVAC fan runs all the time. No special features in the room. Best part is the location. On premises of Easton Mall. Lots of nice stores and many restaurant choices in walking distance. A good option that I would use again.

This was an amazing hotel! We came down for a weekend couples retreat and chose the location due to the walking distance from dining and shops at Easton Towne Center. The hotel was perfect. It was clean, clean, clean and the rooms were very well maintained. The front desk staff was super friendly and welcoming. Will be staying there again for sure!

Fantastic location! Great historic hotel. Walking distance to restaurants, fantastic shopping (including Easton and Polaris shopping centers) etc. well appointed rooms, friendly service and free parking. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

Stayed here for one night for a shopping trip with friends and family. We had two rooms on the 3rd floor. Hotel and rooms were very clean. Perfect set up with sink and counter outside bathroom. Staff at this hotel were so friendly and helpful. Can't compliment management enough on your staff. Location was perfect. Walked all over Easton Town Center.

The hotel is nice, the staff is very helpful and you cannot beat the location. I especially like the Starbucks onsite and the free wireless.

The price is very competitive and the room was very clean and inviting. The maid left water daily and the staff always had a smile.

My visit didn't start out well, I received a room and a key but when I entered the room-there was another person in it! that is unnerving to say the least. The girl at the desk did not appreciate how scary that is for single female traveling-made some flip comment about I thought you were sharing the room-wow-talk about poor customer service. I was unhappy and called the manager who handled the situation very professionally-which I appreciated. so moving on....not thrilled with security...
the location is great. Right next to a mall and lots of places to eat. The hotel is dated, hasn't been updated at all and the beds were not comfortable. It isn't one of those updated Courtyards. The breakfast also closes at 9:30 during the week-which was disappointing.
All in all-I won't stay there again because of the security lapse. There is a beautiful Hilton in the same area that is full size and updated. I really appreciate how the manager handled the situation-but the dated look and uncomfortable-lumpy bed doesn't say "come stay with me and get some sleep"...so I will be moving on.

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott at Easton for one night with my husband and two daughters (ages 9 and 6) after a trip to COSI and dinner at the American Girl Doll store (both of which, I’d recommend). It was our first stay and this hotel, and it was a positive experience. (It’s a 15-minute drive from COSI.)

The best part of the Courtyard Marriott is its location right within Easton. It was great to park at the hotel, then walk to the shops and restaurants in Easton. People in their cars were swarming around Easton, searching for parking. (It reminded me of our local mall at Christmastime.) With our hotel stay, we didn’t have to worry about scoping out a parking spot.

The hotel itself was nice. The room was neat, clean and modern with flat screen TV, desk, refrigerator, coffee pot, updated décor, etc. Our room had a king bed, which was a little too soft for our taste, but not uncomfortable. There was a pull-out sofa bed, but it ended up being a twin. We did have to call the front desk to request a [complimentary] roll-away bed. The pull-out and roll-away were perfect for our girls. As with many hotels now, the sink was separate from the shower and toilet. Paul Mitchell was the brand of shampoo and conditioner offered.

The front desk staff was courteous and friendly. The only thing that would have made our stay better was a complimentary continental breakfast. The hotel does offer a la carte items like cereal, muffins, yogurt, juice, etc., but it wasn’t exactly what we wanted that morning. We ended up stopping at a restaurant on the way home.

This was a great location for our one-night stay in Columbus. Enjoy your stay there.
