“A great family trip for your young ones”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

A good free trip from the cold, this is a mini history self guided tour where you enter to watch a short video and read along a trail of ice cream. Nice restaurant inside with friendly staff. Probably not one bad ice cream flavor here, but I like the rasberry chocolate chip the best! The best part was an inside play area to run off all those calories. Right down the road is Al's Popcorn, which has a little tour with good samples.

“Fun, interesting, quick tour - then you can eat their delicious ice cream :-)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Graeter's custom built this building for themselves - an ice cream factory, a retail ice cream shop, and an indoor kid play area.

The tour isn't huge, or very long, but it's interesting and you see exactly how they make their fantastically delicious ice cream.

The factory is right inside their huge ice cream store on Bethel Road, as is a kid play area and some rooms you can rent for birthday parties, etc.

It's a fun 15-20 minute self-guided tour, then you go buy and eat some of their delicious ice cream and let your kids run off their sugar buzz in the play area.

Good, clean family fun.

Enjoy that that have a play place for the kids. They can tour and see how they make their ice cream which is so good. We love coming here

“Rainy day activity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2013

We took the kids to eat ice cream and play when they needed to get out of the house but it was too cold to do anything outside. Service was great, the ice cream was well worth the money and the kids loved playing in the large play area. The play land was large, very clean and well kept.

“As a tour it wasn't as good as a TV show would have been!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

They don't even make their ice cream in Columbus any more, much less at this "factory" so the factory tour is a fake. Basically you sit for a few minutes for a series of videos showing how they make their ice cream (in Cincinnati, no less) then walk past old equipment with signs telling you about the equipment you are looking at. Lastly, you watch a bored girl make the wheels (ice cream cake) through a window. She didn't even look up at us or smile. It was worth every penny we spent for the tour - which was free.

After the tour, you can buy some of their ice cream. I like the quality of it and the amount of chocolate chip pieces but that's a different story.
