“Great Place to Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2011

Stayed there on a business trip. The rooms are great and the service exceptional. Location in Easton was close to shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The lobby bar and Gym was worth the stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. This a great place to attend a business conference.

I have been wanting to stay here for the last 10 years and what a let down!! We are relocating to Columbus and my company put me up here so I didn't even pay for it and complained for their money! First my SO and I are both tall. I am 5'9" and he is 6'2". Why they put us in an ADA room with a short shower is beyond me. Then the shower was dirty, complete with someones sliver of soap. The sheets are not high quality as you would expect in this hotel. Parking is a nightmare for guests. You either pay the $10 for valet or be prepared to hoof it to one of of the mall garages with your stuff. The Internet is $10 a day. Upon check in you are asked to sign an agreement saying you will pay $100 fee if you cuy your stay short - I've traveled all over the world and have never encountered this. They clearly know this hotel is not worth the price. I've stayed on the other end of the strip at the Courtyard and would go back there in a second. The atmosphere is pretty though! When I complained to the from desk gal regarding all these issues, all I got was a bunch of blinking eyes and continued "I'm sorry". Hardly makes up for $400 of wasted money.

Nice clean upscale hotel, If you happen to be in the middle of America and want to play make believe then this is the place for you. The hotel is upscale and you'll pay for it, but that's not all because just outside the door you'll have the opportunity to wear out the magnetic strip on your credit card with all the shopping as well. The employees that we interacted with were certainly kind and accomidating enough when needed. It truly is a very nice, elegant hotel, but not the place to just drop in to spend the night on the way through. I'd call it more of a destination stay. It's value would depend on who's paying for it, you or the company expense account.

Among the priciest of Columbus area hotels, the Hilton is nice enough, but not exceptional for the cost. Most guests likely stay here because of events being held at the hotel's conference center. While the rooms are certainly serviceable and the immediate walkable area (a shopping and restaurant development) is very nice, there is no need to spend the money to stay here if you have other options in Columbus. I like to stay near Polaris, which has the same high-end shopping and restaurant amenities nearby and - I think - nicer, less expensive hotels with better staff. (Probably $100 or so less per night.) This place made me feel lost in the crowd.

Stayed numerous times on business, great every time. Good rooms, good service and great location in Easton Village.

Lobby bar, pub and gym all worth a visit.

The Hilton Easton is the perfect place to stay for a conference. The location is perfect for those who like to shop and eat. There are so many options within walking distance. The entire shopping area is across the street from the hotel. The hotel is very accommodating conference attendees and has the standards of an upscale hotel. The hotel restaurant was very expensive, but the food was excellent. For a pleasure stay the hotel is expensive, but the conference rate of $147 is a bargain.

Room Tip: Any room is great at this hotel.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2011

I spent two nights in October. All members of the staff were great. The rooms were adequate but nothing special for the $225+/night in the Easton area. I stayed there because a conference was there and attending a conference in that building is the only reason I would stay again at that price level. The carpets were dingy, the furniture seemed a little dated, and you have to pay for interent on top of a pricey rate for some place outside of a major downtown city. I had to deal with loud people in the halls a few times and the door to the room had a large gap at the bottom that let a lot of light into the room. It is fine overall but I do not recommend this hotel unless you have a conference in the hotel.
