“Business Travel and Meetings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011

Spent a week here for business in late September. Used the meeting rooms and ate all breakfast and lunches here, as well as one formal dinner. Meeting rooms were too cold, but guest rooms were fine. Nice clean rooms, pretty standard Hilton rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful including food service, front desk and maid service. Food had variety, was appropriate temperature and was ready on time.

I agree with previous review that coffee and internet should be available at no additional charge for these room rates.

Location is very convenient. Shopping and dining is within walking distance. This was helpful for our large group to go to restaurants for dinner without buses.

Overall nice facility and we will be back.

Awesome experince. Was on the business floor which was card access only, and had the little cocktails area. The first night I ate at Cheesecake factory and had left overs, I didn't realize my room didn't have a fridge. I called down to the desk to ask if there was anywhere for me to put my leftovers and cheesecake and within 5 mins she had someone at my door with a mini frig.

I booked this hotel, strictly for its location at Easton. We booked one room, Saturday 9/17 for a bridal shower/bachellorette night. We chose the Hilton at Easton strictly because of it's location. Booked online through a third party site for $211 w/taxes. We were able to check in at 2:30, which is an hour and a half early. Check in was extremely easy - no wait, staff was very nice.

Room: The room rate was a "special" and was discounted because we stayed in an accessible room. As such, the room was huge! Plenty of room for three women to spread out all of our stuff, run multiple hair dryers, curling irons and straighteners at the same time. We had more than enough space for both a gift table and a food area. The carpet had some stains, one big ugly red one under neath the table. I would imagine this room hadn't been stayed in for a while - or the cleaning staff wasn't very thorough. First, there was hair on the tray, glasses and ice bucket. Second, there was a layer of dust on the shelving unit in the bathroom - including the two extra towels stored there. Once we removed the two towels you could see the outine from where the dust had settled around them. Because the room was wheelchair accessible - water ran out of the shower into the bathroom floor - but there was no extra drain - so it was quite hazzardous. Two bath mats, and all the extra towels still couldn't sop up all the water - and we were careful with the shower head. I've stayed in plenty of rooms like this before and never had it be this bad. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean.

Location: You are clearly paying for location and name. The hotel sits on the "outside" of the Easton Town Center - so you can walk to plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment. This is the only reason we chose this hotel - and I was willing to pay for the location and feeling of safety by being only a few steps from our dinner and desert restaurants and all of our entertainment as opposed to other areas in Columbus.

This is a good hotel if you are going to be in the Easton area for an event. The hotel ballrooms and common areas are beautiful - but the rooms are a bit of a disappointment considering the rest of the hotel. Overall, if you have the extra $ to spend for a special event it's a good choice.

Love the location, love the staff, but for the price you should get complimentary coffee and breakfast. The in-room coffee maker was not good and the only other option is to go down and buy Starbucks. Seriously??? Free wireless is available in the lobby only so my daughter had to go down to connect. Fridge would have been nice. I would not come back to this hotel because it is way overpriced for what you get.

We stayed here in June while visiting family in Columbus. We were amazed at how nice this hotel was. It was close to the shopping center which was nice and lots of restaurants around. The only thing I wish our room had was a refrigerator. The staff was great and very helpful because we didn't know our way around town.

I stayed at this hotel on Sep 7 - 9 2011 for a business conference. Overall my stay was excellent. I was very satisfied with my room. The only item missing was a refrigerator but I knew that prior to arriving. The room was clean and quiet. I used the pool and exercise room. I ate one time in the restaurant which was expensive. The coffee shop was great and the Sports bar was very nice. The price of the room was in my opinion high but it was well worth it with all of the added luxuries. All of the staff I met were friendly and helpfull. Also you do have to pay for your internet.
