“Put some SAGE in your life”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

If you find yourself in Columbus, Ohio. You have to go to Sage. Food and service are top notch. Let Andy take care of you and you will be very happy. The food here is fantastic. Some of the food combinations might seem strange. Trust this chef. He knows how to compose a good dish.
I even had foie gras for dessert.

“First timer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2013

On a business trip with 4 other people and Zagat's rated this highly and we were staying close by. It was a Tuesday night and there were few people there, but we were glad to have been 5 of them. Exceptionally good food- best salmon I have ever had prepared anywhere.

Waiter was very helpful in recommendations and frankness. Everyone was pleased with their selections. Deserts weren't that great, but everything else was 5-star.

“Seasonal Menu keeps us coming back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

Sage has become our go-to place for celebrations. The restaurant is very small so be sure to make a reservation. We often sit at the bar, even for our meals. The drinks are original and not skimpy. We've had most of their menu items and found everything to be good. They do seafood well, and know how to cook an Amish chicken. You can't go wrong with their steaks. Bon appetit!

“Creative Menu at Sage”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

First visit to Sage. Thursday night reservations for four. Not crowded and plenty of available tables. Service was excellent. Food choices are unique for Central Ohio and very creative. We each tried something different: pork cheeks, steak, veal meatballs and gnocchi. Except for the steak, portions are small. No one was brave enough to sample the unusual starters. Wine selection is extensive, some by the glass. Prices are on the high side, but reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. I especially liked the atmosphere with contemporary art work, perfect lighting and pleasing colors. Sage is in the North Campus neighborhood, but parking in the back is convenient. In fact, the entrance is in the back rather than on High Street. We would not recommend Sage for families with children.

“Foie Gras- and other local Ohio foods”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012 via mobile

I know it's not envogue to taut my love of Foie gras, but too bad- when there is a place which has a nice assortment of this dish, especially in Columbus, it is worth commenting.

My recent dinner here was very good- brought both my wife and daughter. Neither could get enough of the food on the menu.

Everything was fresh and creative, definitely a pleasant change from the typical chain restaurants found in Columbus.

Located a ways from the Short North and the OSU campus- it is somewhat isolated.

The entry is in back as is the parking

Sit back and enjoy
