“modern interior, European style”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

It is a chic and comfortable hotel. If you care about room size, get the two queen size room. The king size room is smaller. It does not come with free breakfast. I booked this room from Priceline.com and got it for $54/night; after taxes & priceline fee, I paid $70. I may stay there again if I am taking a flight from Columbus airport if there were not noise from the upstairs tenants. Get a room on the top floor!

Room Tip: Get a room on the top floor. Two queen size beds room is much bigger than the king size room.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful!

From the bright, fresh, and welcoming lobby - to the modern, comfortable, and convenient guest rooms - you can't go wrong!

The beds are incredible, the linens are fresh and spotless - I could not have slept better!

The wireless internet connection is very fast and consistent.

The bathroom is incredibly spacious and sparkling clean. For a near solid white bathroom, major kudos to the housekeeping staff! There were a couple small stains on the carpet, but when the room itself both looks and smells clean - I have no question that it is indeed a stubborn stain that has been cleaned and disinfected.

I have stayed at several Four Points, and while each has a very unique character that is individual to the hotel, if Sheraton would replicate this hotel in new markets, they would most certainly have properties that had a look and feel like nothing else in the industry.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would certainly recommend it to others!

This is a great new facility, and is located right by the airport. The shuttle service is prompt and convenient, even though they have a church van type shuttle (meaning a high step up) that has bench seats rather than the normal airport shuttle bus type vehicle.

The actual property is very nice and new, even though you can see signs of wear in places, and some of the rooms etc. One of the rooms had cigarette burns on the pull down window drapes. The walls are VERY thin, and some of the rooms have the shared doors between rooms, which means that you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing, from his evening ritual, to his paid mature movie selections and his morning toilet routine. I was not happy. The breakfast ordered from room service was up very quickly, but looked like it was made by a 7th grade home economics class. Even though the breakfast was supposed to come with bacon, the person answering the phone kept saying it wasn't "time" for bacon, and then delivered the breakfast sans bacon. He told me to go downstairs in about 15 minutes and I could get bacon. Huh? The point of room service is that it is ROOM service. I asked him to bring the bacon when ready, and gave him a generous tip to ensure follow up. He never showed up. The staff at the front desk is young and can't be bothered, and don't care as they are just going through the motions. Such a shame as the location is great, and the property is for the most part very nice.

Rooms: Nice modern rooms, but no easily accessible power outlets by the bed. When will hotel designers learn that you don't want to have to crawl under and re-arrange furniture to get to a power outlet, and that a lot of people use their laptops while in bed? This along with the question about why they bother to put up signs telling you not to hang anything on the fire system sprinkler, but then don't actually offer you enough hooks in the room.

But I digress - this is a property to consider if you have a short stay and just need a room for night (and may or may not care about actually sleeping), and also REALLY want to get those starwood points. That won't be me - don't think I will return.

Room Tip: Ensure room doesn't have a shared door with room next door.

Nearly brand new hotel. Clean, modern decor. Nice pool. Only had breakfast there, which was ok, nothing spectacular, but prices were reasonable. There is a Jimmy Johns/pizza place/McDonalds in walking distance. I forgot my iHome in the room, and the staff were extremely helpful and gracious in packing it up and sending it to me thru UPS. Only thing I didn't like was the "door" to the bathroom. It resembles a barn door that slides, and unfortunately it slid open..while I was using the bathroom! Strange decor choice..

We stayed at the Four Points Sheraton through a bid on price line. Nice decor, clean, pleasant staff. They had a pool, which we did not have time to use, and they provided a free shuttle to the Airport. Would stay here again.

Stayed here one night on business and it was just fine. It is a newer property so is clean and modern. The front desk staff were indifferent upon check in. Not unfriendly but not welcoming either. I don't expect trumpets and a red carpet, but most weary travelers appreciate a warm greeting when checking in to a hotel. Just one of the little things that can take a ho hum experience and turn it into something special. I stayed at another Sheraton property the previous night and the staff there were wonderful...all the difference in the world.

With that said, the room was nice and comfortable. It is VERY close to the airport however and there were planes loudly coming or going late into the night so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper.

Room Tip: Not sure if it would help, but I would ask for a room away from the side facing the airport approach...

We stayed for 2 nights during 2012 Equine Affaire. The dining room/bar seemed to be grossly understaffed when we had dinner and breakfast. At dinner, there was 1 man who was bartender/waiter/server/busser trying to serve at least 4 other tables along with bar patrons. It wasn't working well -- and we had to go to the bar to get everything from our drinks to the check. At breakfast we ran into a similar situation with our waitress/server feeling overwhelm (or so she told us!!) Our room was small but adequate. Not sure that we would stay here again - but the price was reasonable.
