I was a little concerned about going there after reading so many bad reviews, but figured it was just for one night with the kids so we would survive. The check in manager was extremely nice and gave us the kids club suprise gift which turned out to be 25.00 in arcade tokens and a free bag of dirt for mining. I have three girls, 4,6, and 10. We had reserved the Cisco bunk room which turned out to be very nice and clean. I never saw any bugs anywhere. Our girls LOVED the bunkbed with their own flatscreen T.V and so did we! The bathroom was kind of small but I really appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave. We played in the waterpark until 9pm when it closes and then cooked microwave dinners for the girls. They had a picnic on the bunkbeds and had a blast. The next morning we packed up and still got to enjoy the arcade and waterpark. There was never a shortage of towels like I had read, even though we took our own. The staff in the giftshop, the bar, and the arcade were very nice. The lifegaurds were very attentive which I appreciated. My husband and I even went out front in the evening and sat outside for a breather which was nice. The other thing I want to mention is how clean they kept the waterpark. My kids dropped some fries on the ground under our table, and it wasnt long before a staff member was coming around with a broom and swept them up. I was impressed. The a/c in the room was working extremely well, so much so that we had to turn it down. The kingsize bed was great, and the sheets looked and smelled clean. I was very pleased. No the T.V was not a 32 in flatscreen but thats not why I was there. My kids and I had a wonderful time. Oh...dont pass up a bag of the mining dirt. They have a sluice where our girls got to wash and pan for "gems". My husband and I were worried there wouldnt be much in it. I was WRONG. Each of the girls got a very nice size bag of gems and an identification card. We got some great pictures and they are still showing off their finds. Overall my husband and I agree, we will definately go back. It's not a Westin or a Hilton, and trust me Ive stayed in both. It is a nice family resort and the staff made our visit even more enjoyable. The kids will have a ball. BTW...they also have a 30 person jacuzzi with 18 and over only allowed in it. It was wonderful! It was great having one so large. Personally, I cant wait to go back.
