The Hotel is in Downtown, Cleveland, Ohio, and is within walking distance of most locations of interest, including the Rock and Roll Museum. The local, FREE, and clean, municipal bus service is just outside the front door. The rooms are comfortably large, with beds that help put you to sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow. The staff is very attentive, and friendly to a fault, with a nightly "turn-down" service. Fully equipped work-out room, steam room, and hot tub, but the pool was closed, and will be for sometime. Valet was very friendly, and car retrieval was quick. If needed, the local rail service terminal is under the hotel, and the Horseshoe Casino is located across the street. You will not be bored, in or out of the hotel.

This was our 6th stay at the Ritz since January, it's our hotel of choice when visiting the Horseshoe Casino. The staff at this hotel is one of the best I've ever come across. Everyone goes out of their way to make your stay here a great experience. Rooms are nice & comfortable. House keeping is outstanding. Location is fantastic. It's just a short 3 minute walk inside from the Ritz to the Casino. There are plenty of great eating and shopping choices nearby. Easy access to the Baseball Stadium, Arena and the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame as well. Valet parking is free when staying at the Ritz. That's a major plus being nearby properties charge $25-$30 to valet park. If you're looking for a quiet & classy over night stay, you can't go wrong with the Ritz.

Room Tip: Club level is the best.

I was recently at the Ritz-Carlton for a business meeting. The staff was fantastic! They were attentive and wonderfully professional. From the valet to the desk staff to the meal service staff - everyone was excellent. I felt like I was truly a valued customer. Even when I asked where the restroom was - I was walked to the area and not pointed in a vague direction (one of my pet peeves with customer service). As someone who works in a customer-oriented profession, I can tell you the staff was well-trained and they take pride in the service they provide. They smiled and were kind and friendly. Also, the food was phenomenol. Love this place! Unfortunately, I was booked at another hotel for the overnight stay.

The rooms were average to large in size, very clean. Comfortable beds. WiFi complementary on club level. Club level service and preparations were quite good.
The check in staff at the front desk was extraordinary in going out of their way to assure satisfaction with the reservation.

First, there was an issue with check in upon arrival. We reserved a room with 2 queen beds, but were told the hotel only had king rooms left. There were 4 of us, so a king was not going to work. The woman checking us in was not very helpful. Luckily, the other people checking in cancelled a room, thus freeing a double queen room. The carpet is old and tattered. Turn down service was nice. In this case, paying extra for the Ritz name was not worth it.

On my previous stay, it was not as good as I had expected. This stay was superb, from check in to check out. Courteous staff, good location, excellent room, great breakfast and nice fresh fruit delivered to our room. Pay the extra to stay here it will be worth it.

This was our first visit to Ohio and the staff at the Ritz made it a wonderful first trip! The hotel is exactly what you think of for a Ritz - impeccable, dedicated friendly staff, excellent quality. We got a suite which was a very good size, the rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the linens a high quality. We had to call to have someone look at our air conditioning which wasn't working and the engineer was there within 5 minutes. Everyone made us feel welcome - it was a wonderful experience. The only negative I have is that wi-fi is not free - you have to pay $9.99 per day, per device. With so many other places offering free wi-fi, it would be nice for the Ritz to do that too.
