“Superior service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

The hotel employees treat each one of thier guests like royalty and make you feel so welcome. The lounge offered free snacks and various beverages. The hotel was very clean. The restaurant, Muse, was excellent. The food was delicious. The hotel is close to the downtown activities. The massage services were great. Everyone was so helpful. You can get in room dining 24hours a day and the food was great! The employees on the 14th floor lounge were attentive and always making sure we had everything we needed while we waited for our room. Will stay again!

Walk into the Horseshoe Casino in Cleveland go to the lower level, walk across the attached shopping area and go up two floors....and you will find the Ritz-Carlton behind closed doors. The room was nice, had a great view and the beds were wonderful! Stopped in the little bar downstairs after a evening of gambleing. Quiet and comfortable, not a hot spot, but, one could go alone and feel comfortable. Of course on can also drive to the Ritz and park, but the overnight parking is $28. Park at the Casino and it's free if one plays for 30 min.

Thought we'd have a view of the lake. Understaffed bar. Waited and waited for service. Never got to order a second drink.
Only one robe in the room.
Moderately impressed for such an expensive hotel.
Not a Ritz quality stay.

Very clean and spacious corner room on upper floor. Nice finish to room not a blah upper end hotel room. Nice fit and detail work unique entrance once inside room, long hallway with window then turn left to room, nice set up, get a corner room. Very comfortable bed.Great staff and doorman as always, the best, some have been there almost 20 years. Service is the word. Like the way it is connected to Public Square, relaxing.

Room Tip: If possible reserve a corner room, nice views of the river and flats.

My wife and I visited the Ritz the weekend of November 9th-11th. We have stayed at Ritz Carlton Hotels previously and were never disappointed. This time however we were. The building itself is not quite what we expect of a Ritz; it is rather bland and it appears tired and dreary. I much prefer the Marriott Hotel nearby. The rooms were rather dull and mundane. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

They have very poor bar facilities. There is small little bar on the 6th floor which seats about 5 people and one of the days that area was blocked off for a wedding. Thus, if you just wanted to have a cocktail and hang out a bit, you need to find one of the restaurants with a bar in Tower City.

The location is great but so is the Renaissance Hotel which is also close. We thought about dining in the hotel restaurant, the Muse, but the place was so deserted that we opted out. Overall, it was just a very "blah" experience.

We expect more from the Ritz and our hotel experience here, while nice, was similar to a Hilton Garden Head.

it must be great to be rich. This hotel is old but very well kept. Marble walls in the bathroom, seperate tub and shower areas are something you wont find in the new motels. From the doorman to the maids and everyone in between were great, very professional but very friendly and helpful. location is in the center of everything in downtown Cleveland. If you have the chance to stay here "dont pass it up".

Room Tip: corner room was large with two windows to view the city and Lake Erie

Nice hotel with very friendly employees from valet, to bellman, to front desk. Hard to find in Cleveland unless you know where exactly you are going as Third Street does not go completely through due to a building in the middle of street; you must go around block & come in from other sideof Third Street. Beds very comfortable. Muse restaurant very expensive. Free bottles of water in room & in lobby. Free daily newspaper in hall on table. Do not get a room close to ice machine due to noise. Located in Tower City which has stores, food court, restaurants, subway, and close to several attractions.
