My wife and I visited the Ritz the weekend of November 9th-11th. We have stayed at Ritz Carlton Hotels previously and were never disappointed. This time however we were. The building itself is not quite what we expect of a Ritz; it is rather bland and it appears tired and dreary. I much prefer the Marriott Hotel nearby. The rooms were rather dull and mundane. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

They have very poor bar facilities. There is small little bar on the 6th floor which seats about 5 people and one of the days that area was blocked off for a wedding. Thus, if you just wanted to have a cocktail and hang out a bit, you need to find one of the restaurants with a bar in Tower City.

The location is great but so is the Renaissance Hotel which is also close. We thought about dining in the hotel restaurant, the Muse,but the place was so deserted that we opted out. Overall, it was just a very "blah" experience.

We expect more from the Ritz and our hotel experience here, while nice, was similar to a Hilton Garden Head.

it must be great to be rich. This hotel is old but very well kept. Marble walls in the bathroom,seperate tub and shower areas are something you wont find in the new motels. From the doorman to the maids and everyone in between were great, very professional but very friendly and helpful. location is in the center of everything in downtown Cleveland. If you have the chance to stay here "dont pass it up".

Nice hotel with very friendly employees from valet, to bellman, to front desk. Hard to find in Cleveland unless you know where exactly you are going as Third Street does not go completely through due to a building in the middle of street; you must go around block & come in from other sideof Third Street. Beds very comfortable. Muse restaurant very expensive. Free bottles of water in room & in lobby. Free daily newspaper in hall on table. Do not get a room close to ice machine due to noise. Located in Tower City which has stores, food court, restaurants, subway, and close to several attractions.

The people associated with the Ritz Carlton Hotel were impeccable in their over-the-top service, their dress and friendliness. From the moment they valeted our car, opened the door in the lower lobby, to check-in, to the Bellman delivering our luggage, I can't say enough about the staff!

The Muse Restaurant was small and intimate, and the food excellent! I highly recommend this Hotel.
