“Beautiful Hotel with Spacious rooms!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a friend's wedding (reception was at the hotel). It was a beautiful hotel, and the staff was very happy to accommodate our needs throughout the stay. The rooms were enormous with wonderful amenities. I would absolutely return in the future!

This was the worst experience we've ever had at a Hyatt. We had to wake up at 4 a.m. the next morning and our room overlooked the arcade AND the wedding reception in the arcade that lasted well after midnight. There was a live band directly beneath our room. The worst part was that I questioned the placement of the room at check-in and the front desk person assured me that our room was far enough away from where the wedding reception would be and there would be no sound issue. On top of that, when I sent an email to Hyatt explaining our dissatisfaction with the room and explanation we received from the front desk, we NEVER received a response. What a disappointment!

Room Tip: Make sure you ask if there is an event in the arcade during your stay. If there is, be sure to ask f...

We stayed at the Hyatt in downtown Cleveland on our way to Niagara Falls. The hotel was very nice, and we received a great package deal for the Rock N Roll Hall of fame. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were very spacious. Only issue was that the beds were doubles and we had 2 adults and 2 kids. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly. Parking is expensive at $22, but not out of line for downtown hotels. We were only a 10 minute walk to the hall of fame, and were right next to 4th street with all of the restaurants. Great location. Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for the price we paid.

The hotel is downtown within walking distance of the Rock and Roll museum and restaurants. The design is a great reuse of a fantastic one of a kind building. Hyatt Gold Passport benefits included a room upgrade and a delicious full breakfast each day in the hotel restaurant. Valet parking is available curbside in front of the hotel. The Concierge never seemed to be available, but front desk personnel were there to answer questions and give directions. Daily newspapers were delivered, but late in the morning and only after a call. Several calls were needed to replenish in room coffee. Turndown service was a puzzle, the bed was actually remade instead of being turned down and used towels weren't replaced. Overall, staff were friendly and anxious to help.

Room Tip: Many rooms face the interior of the arcade. For more light and a view, request a room that faces ou...

This place was amazing. As you walk in, you honestly don't think it's a hotel. There are stores and a nail salon inside. The rooms all have these mail slots which look cute. The stay was great. The view was something less to be desired. I looked out the window and saw a parking garage. But other than that, it was quiet and cozy. I would go back and stay here. The price was worth it.

I stayed here with one of my children in July. The hotel is beautiful and there is a Chocolate Bar in the building, so I thought it would be fun to stay here. Unfortunately, the building backs right onto a parking structure (I mean RIGHT UP against it), and there was police activity in the parking structure during the night. I'm not exactly sure what was going on, but the noise of the sirens was magnified by the structure and we were awake from 2am onwards. Other than one strip of cafes in the alleyway behind the hotel, there is not much else to do or see after 5pm. The shops in the Arcade close very early. We statyed in Beachwood on our way back, and we were much happier.

Be sure to hit the Chocolate "Martini" Bar on the street level. Great location for food and drink variety nearby. The rooms are nice and the staff is great!
