“Very nice hotel with only one flaw”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2010

We live an hour and a half away from Cleveland Airport and so when we have an early morning flight, we like to stay at this hotel. They have a very big parking lot so they let you keep your car in their lot for no extra charge while you are away on your trip. They will drop you off and pick you up at the airport for no charge too. The guy behind the desk the night we checked in was one of the most pleasant and friendly hotel staff we have ever met. He definitely had the perfect personality for the job. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. Here's the one complaint: the room we had Feb 2010 had a heater that would turn on and off and on and off every few minutes and this went on all night long. We couldn't really turn it off as it was below zero outside. It definitely affected my sleep that night. I don't remember having that problem any of the other times we stayed here. Other than that one problem, everything was great.

We visit Cleveland several times a year and are still looking for the "right" hotel for us that is convenient to the Fairview Park area. This is not going to be it. Ingress and egress to this hotel is not the greatest. The hotel is situated on the property in such a way that there is limited parking along the building, with most being on the backside. Not a big problem, we thought, as we can just go in the nearest door in the back. So, parking back there, we dragged our luggage through the snow and cold only to find that back door locked ... appeared to be permanently locked, even our card would not gain us entrance. Once inside the room ... well, the room was okay except for the bathroom. Not only is it tiny, with no separate vanity, the only sink being in the same room as the tub and commode. I guess they measured carefully to make sure the door wood open fully - it clears the toilet by about an inch. And the first thing my wife noticed was that the lighting inside the bathroom is terrible for make-up (luckily, I do not need to shave this week). No, this will not see a return trip from us.

Check in was prompt friendly and exactly what I was promised on the phone when we booked that morning. The room was super clean the beds comfy the bathroom sparkling. The internet connection was great. We had a 330 am wake up call and shuttled just 10 minutes to the airport. The price was fair and I am sure if I had booked through priceline name your own price I would have saved 30 0r 40 bux. I would recommend this to anyone single or family, there is a nice pool and weight room and restaurant and bar.

I believe they have recently renovated, but it still looks like a typical Holiday Inn/motel. Great water pressure in the shower, though, and the staff is very nice. Don't bother going to the restaurant for anything.

I booked by room on hotwire the night before and got a exceptionally good rate. I also called ahead once we reached Chicago from Northern VA. They were great with the early check in. The room was clean and it suited our purposes. There is a indoor pool and exercise room for the guest use.

Friends and I booked this hotel because of its proximity to the rapid station. We were going to a Browns game that night, and wanted a hotel here at 150th, as they are clean, affordable, have free parking, and have easy access to both the rapid and 71. This hotel didn't disappoint.

The hotel is oldish, but well kept. It is oddly situated and has a maze like layout. We tried early check in (we wanted to secure the room before hitting the rapid), but no rooms were ready. However, the clerk made sure proper non-smoking rooms were set aside.

After arriving at the hotel (it was well after midnight), check in was smooth. Finding our room took awhile, as the hotel is cut-up. The rooms were decent and well kept.

As stated earlier, this is an older hotel, but well maintained. I will stay here again.
