My wife and I had dinner at Michaelangelo's in Cleveland's Little Italy area on a Friday night. The restaurant was not filled, a fact that spoke to the large number of other Italian restaurants nearby. The people who dined elsewhere missed out on a wonderful meal. The menu was creative and the food expertly prepared. We had half portions of the pasta course. Veal filled tortellini and ravioli in truffle sauce were delicious. My main course of pork medallions in Amarone and gooseberry sauce was exceptional. The wine list was well selected and we enjoyed a Sangrantino from Montefalco, one of our favorite wines, not often found. The decor of the interior is calming and elegant. Valet parking is available.
