I took my two sons here for some spring pictures; I hadn't been here before but I heard good things. The gardens are all beautiful and well-cared for, with plenty of little nooks and crannies. There were people there, but it didn't detract from the experience. I really liked the Japanese garden, and my kids loved the kid-centric garden, complete with a playground and holes cut into shrubbery for them to play in. Photo opportunities abound, both as backgrounds for people and in and of themselves. The butterfly observatory is a treat too, as is the little cafe for cakes, cookies, and healthier fare.
