“Excellent value , great service and comfortable stay with garden patio!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2010

We stayed at this hotel on 7-17-2010 while in the city for a Cleveland Indians Ballgame. First of all the hotel had a beautiful car with a nice driver take us to the game for only $15.00. That's just a couple dollars more than a taxi and we had no wait. We traveled with 2 tween boys and a 17 year old daughter. The kids were a little upset that there wasn't a pool, but they did spend some time at the fitness center. The outdoor patio is beautiful, relaxing with excellent tunes and yummy drinks. The hotel has a restaurant with delicious food although it is on the pricey side ,but that's what you get in a city. The service at the hotel is great, both at the front desk and restaurant. We called ahead and asked for a late check-out because our daughter was going to stay in the room while we went to the game. When we asked for extra pillows, they were brought to the room promptly. They let us check-out the next day very late without any added fees!!!! Our room was a 2 room suite and we had breakfast included in our price of $125.00! They gave us a roll-away bed for no added charge. When you add in a non-charged late check-out which was very late, it's a deal that just can't be beat!

I stayed here one night while making a visit to the Cleveland Clinic. The hotel is immediately adjacent to the Clinic campus, so most of the Clinic buildings are only a short walk; in addition, shuttles for the Clinic stop at the hotel. The hotel was very clean and quiet. My suite had a sitting area with tv, microwave, coffeemaker, and small refrigerator. In contrast to some suite hotels, there was a door between the sitting area and the bedroom. The bedroom also had a tv, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was large, with separate access from the bedroom and the sitting area. I had a very pleasant dinner on the outdoor patio that is next to the bar and restaurant. There is a small business center (only 2 computers). Valet parking is $16, with unlimited in and out. All in all it was quite satisfactory, and is where I would stay if I were to visit the Clinic again.

Out of the way unless you are going to the Cleveland Clinic. But we found this hidden gem to be quiet, inexpensive, very clean and comfortable. Three of us were traveling so we got a 1 br suite w 2 double beds and a sleep sofa. Not huge but adequate and spotless. Excellent seating area and very comfortable beds. We paid $109 including breakfast for two. Major bargain. Dinner was good and parking in a secured lot was reasonable $16. ATT Internet connected right up with our iPhones. All in all a very pleasant stay.

My father-in-law was in the Cleveland Clinic heart unit. We reserved a room, which by the way, was extremely expensive. The room was a suite, which was very small and just not very clean. The hotel staff was extremely rude when asked a question. We were charged an additional $16.00 per day to park the car, as they only had valet parking. So that means you are a captive audience. The maid came in on Monday, didn't leave any washcloths, left what we thought were clean coffee cups, but this morning, when I made coffee and turned the cup over, it still had my lipstick from the day before on it, no coffee was left in the room. Charged over $216 each night and still wanted us to pay for internet. Just took computer to hospital and got it for free. Such a shame that we were take advantage of because we had a loved one in the hospital.

There is another Intercontinental hotel located on the other side of the Cleveland Clinic that is much newer and much nicer than this location. For supposedly being a 4-star hotel, it is in need of some serious updating. The internet service provider is AT&T, which means you have to pay a fee unless you happen to have an AT&T account (we do, fortunately). Staff seemed friendly. We did not eat at the restaurant as most hotel food is generally not worth what you pay for it.

I stayed in the suites because they are right next to Cleveland Clinic and they offered a little more privacy than a simple hotel room. This hotel served its purpose, the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, yet professional, the beds were so comfortable (maybe because I was sleepy), the hotel dining was nice. There was a business center on site, but it was in constant use. We chose to pay for the hotel's WIFI access, which was convenient. This hotel had exactly what we needed. The hospital itself is lovely and the walk to and from the hotel was quick. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we need to be by the hospital.

That said, I would never go to this hotel for leisure. While the amenities are acceptable, the neighborhood has very few restaurants and little to do. The hotel is very good, servicable, perhaps even pleasant, but not great.

I visited this hotel for a dr. appt. at the Clinic. I was very skeptical at first.. HOWEVER I was very surprised at my stay. The staff were very helpful, the lobby and hotel is beautiful and my room was very nice with NOTHING missing. The room was clean and the hotel was so quiet and peaceful. The only downside would be that there is nothing really nearby for food, etc. except the main building of Cleveland Clinic. The hotel was very very nice... The restaurant was $$$$.
